doublevr As we are discussing with SLR directors future steps of bringing something new we get stuck with basic principles of how things work in VR. Getting all the cool intros and themes is easy, it's hardcore parts making things difficult.

Personally i think you guys do the hardcore stuff really well already. For me it's the intros, themes, sets, and story scripts that you guys could improve on the most. Put more effort into cool storylines and you can create some really magical scenes. A lot of studios are falling into the formulaic scenes now where the only thing that truly changes from one scene to the next is the girl.

Add more cosplay, especially sci fi, and have storylines that the actress can kind of call back to when she's whispering in my ear. The cosplay/scifi scenes you guys used to do were really really good

Use sets with different lighting. Lately it seems like most scenes are shot in the living room at noon. A GFE scene at night next to a fireplace would be awesome IMO.

Adrianvr or maybe just overlooked because there is only 1 scene like that (maybe the Lilly Bella too) and it's using an european model which many people will indeed overlook. Most people here will prefer an american actress like Blake Blossom than Katy Rose, even though the Blake Blossom scene is shot in the toilets with an amateur camera, thus more likes 🙂

I once saw a scene pop up onto SLR in the first couple minutes. It had more "hearts" than actual views. People heart a scene before they ever watch them so that it gets put into their favorites. It's the only way you can do it from the home screen with one button push.
People see a really pretty girl in a good looking picture and heart it. This doesn't mean the scene is good. I have tons of hearted terrible scenes.
The better number is hearts to views %

alkory Agree. I'm going to assume that a lot of the people watching VR porn only have a limited amount of time. They don't know all the studios.
I think a lot of people see a screenshot art picture on the homepage of a scene and decide that way. The (whatever its called) picture that the studio puts for their scene makes a huge difference.
That is why SLR changes the picture so they can see which one gets more clicks. It will look one way for a week and then they will change it.
IMO VrSpy has a better picture art than VRPlayful. Plus for me english is important. That's 2 strikes against VRPlayful but still way better.

I think a big issue that can make the videos feel repetitive is how the models speak and behave. It really doesn't matter what the scenario is, or the character the girl is playing, in most scenes from most studios the girls just behave like they are in a porno and speak with the most stereotypical porno talk imaginable. Every other word is fuck, and its a lot of the same exact phrases in every scene. "Your fucking cock is stretching my pussy out", etc. That type of language works for scenes where its appropriate, but when its a sweet girl-next-door scene, GFE scene, etc, it really just feels repetitive and out of place.

I personally think SLR Originals had its best scenes when it first started, mainly due to the variety of scenarios, intimate lighting, positions/camera angles used & there was a certain 'intensity' - it felt more decadent/alluring overall

Just sort the scenes by new and go to page 13-15, "Golden Era" with frequent FF+Ms. Now there's the occasional (I would even say rare) excellent scene, but unfortunately there's no comparison to back then.

I think page 14 is the best SLR page there is. It is so frustrating when it was like that and you assume it's going to stay that good or even get better. Soon after 13 they get the 8K giant maker that took almost a year to figure out and they never got back to the greatness.

I have one request, pov is in a good space right now, camera position is less of a problem, wouldn't change anything, but what I'd like to see added to the pov category, I'd like to see headcam pov, similar to koalavr, he does great work BTW! @doublevr I see the dilemma which you are facing. It is a competitive market and growth is probably becoming difficult. The majority of customers tends to immerse themselves in more realistic scenarios, and that’s a bedroom GFE Setting with some casual poses in POV. Something which is already filmed thousands of times. And this isn’t something where you can really experiment or change much. The dilemma is that every experiment and change in that pattern will make some users very happy, but the majority will not prefer it, so the return of investment will not be that great, unless you really find the next big thing which everyone wants but nobody knows it yet. I honestly wish you good luck in finding that thing. Don’t stop in being innovative, but a hybrid strategy in perfecting things which are known that they work and testing innovations and doing experiments is the way to go.

flo if you just try to please your existing customers, you don’t get growth. You need to do different types of scenes to attract new customers. It’s fine to continue to produce the GFE stuff so as not to alienate your subscribers but that shouldn’t be all you produce. People who watch flat porn are used to seeing more variety and you’ll never entice them over here with just purely girlfriend simulations. Basically making the biggest hack rookie mistake I'm going to experiment for the sake of experimenting. Rather than saying, I want to accomplish 'X' and have ideas on how, and will experiment to that end. And by the wording that's not what's happening. Would there maybe be a 'variety' of casting by giving normal 'flat' crews vr cams to film non pov, it's already tried, and neither has an interesting discussion on how it can grow or much of a growing audience in vr. Other than that nothing is even alluded to, regarding why you want to change what does work to improve scenes. Maybe post when having defined goals with even an attempt at a path to it?

and I'm confident that SLR is in a similar stagnant situation right now, by only producing VR POV videos they think they are catering to the wider audience, whereas VR POV is actually niche in the bigger porn scene.
