  • haptics connect not scanning/syncing for toy (new quest2 auto update cause?)

wil4u - Make sure you have an active SLR subscription and follow these steps exactly from the Main Guide especially the BOLD parts below:

(Also try rebooting your router first and powering everything off and back on to be safe)

OPTION 2 - HOW TO CONNECT YOUR KIIROO, VORZE, or LOVENSE TOY
Android / iOS device steps

1 - Install and launch the Haptics Connect app for Android or iOS

Allow ALL permissions when prompted (Also Turn OFF the 'Remove permissions if app isn't used' option)
Turn ON 'Location' and 'Bluetooth' in your phone settings.
2 - Click the 'Devices' Tab -> Scan to connect your Toy
3 - Open Chrome browser on the same device, visit www.sexlikereal.com and Log in
4 - Click your SLR profile button -> Click on the 'Connect SLR to HC App' DEEPLINK button

We will make the app to check Bluetooth every time in the start. Should eliminate 70%of the issues.

Otherswise we are pushing manufacturers to upgrade to wifi integration as Bluetooth is problematic in many ways

I am using the quest 2 apps. and still getting the errors. when I updated the player for the quest i got the errors. in the haptics connect app

device is not connected to the network
player is not conn3cted to the network
bluetooth is not turned on

i am trying to reset my quest 2 to see if it fixes it

wil4u try to use your android or iPhone for haptics connect

where is the download for the iphone?
I reset my quest 2 most erors are gone but no bluetooth will connect using hapatic app

is that a premium feature? i dont have permium? i buy all the movies and scripts.

wil4u did you check your profile page account through the browser on your mobile device (not pc)?

As long as you purchase scripts or have SLR premium then the 'Connect to HC app" should show in your profile page on your mobile device

Issue is still ongoing for me.

I have the SLR app installed on my Quest 2 with Haptics Connect. Downloaded the install file directly from the SLR site.

Both the SLR and Haptics C app install just fine Via PC. SLR app will open and function fine. Haptics Connect app will crash almost immediately after opening. This has been ongoing for the last 2 weeks.

Factory reset my Quest 2, No affect
Deleted and Reinstalled DEOVR, SLR and Haptics Connect app multiple times, No Affect

Any change a fix is in the pipeline?

i have the same problem haptic app crashes and i can no longer connect to my toy, the problem has existed since the last update of my quest 2

Tried using the iphone haptic app steps listed above but does not work too. No detection on the SLR App in Quest 2. (the haptic connect dot just constantly turns yellow to red)
It only connects to iphone via bluetooth and works with the manual controls.

cav156 @andman24 - please try using Haptics connect on separate Android or iOS device (instead of on Quest direct) following the guide

sideloading apk might not be updated to address latest Quest updates

mousey21 - try resetting/unpluggin your router, rebooting all your devices, and try the steps again

also ensure you are all connected on exact same wifi network everywhere (even same 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz band)

I tried everything. got all the errors to go away. the bluetooh will not search for anydevices on the quest 2. I am not sure if any Quest 2 update broke it.

wil4u - best to use the fixed haptics connect latest update on Playstore or Apple store for your phone instead of direct on Quest 2
