  • The state of Haptics Connect and what's to come

Hey hey,

There are 3 versions of Haptics Connect:

  • Android phone
  • iOS phone

As most of you using the third option noticed, the new meta update, on quest, rendered sideloaded HC useless.
Since we are working on supporting bluetooth pairing directly on the headset we decided to deprecate this 'HC on quest' option and focus our development to finish the BT implementation.

In app BT implementation will not only cover the loss of HC quest, but will also replace both phone options for Win users, with required BT adapter of course.

This means we will eventually deprecate phone options too, but gradually, until all of you migrate to the app solution.

The change should streamline the haptics experience greatly and we are looking forward to it.

Will keep you posted on how it goes!

    That's good news as android version works really bad. I have to restart the app and turn off and on all the toys after each time I change video, because app is stuck on ealier one.

    Bumping this thread, is there any update on the in-app BT development? I miss the haptic features with my Keon.. Thanks

      ri7765 Yes, we finally attached BT integration to a release, its coming in version 13.13!
      Since 13.12 is in testing, it shouldn't be that far away.

        Heads up to all the Haptics Connect users, looks like the new update broke the connection to your account, so if you see "Player" tab missing at the bottom, please repeat the step to reconnect it by:

        • open browser on your mobile phone
        • go to www.sexlikereal.com and login
        • open your profile and click on "Connect SLR to HC app"

          hi @Sandi_SLR,
          I had the same issue, and fixed it with the login trick what you described.
          But now even though I try to relog, have the "Player" page which recognizes the media I'm playing in DeoVR, my Keon is unresponsive.
          I am using the lastest version of iOS on my phone.

          Any ideas?

          UPDATE: the issue has diasappeared as I tried to pair my phone to my Keon, even if I switched back to DeoVR

            Sandi_SLR I know this is an old thread but I want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. Will HC eventually be depreciated and Bluetooth connection will happen directly in DeoVR?

                I just got my Keon today, i was following the pinned tutorial to connect my Keon to my Oculus Quest 3, but i can't find the 'Connect SLR to HC App' button.

                Did you need to have an active subscription to SLR to see this option ? Because i'm actually a free user, i plan to got the pay subscription later this months but i would love to be able to check if my Keon work well with interactive VR video too.

                  Hey, Jbd1964 you will need to have an active subscription for scripts in order to stream scripts as well I'm afraid! We can definitely confirm that Keon works as intended when watching videos!

                    Hello long term user here I see a problem developing here.
                    I have to way of using your product.

                    1/At home in VR with Q3+Deo VR+HC (iOS) and the lovense gush
                    2/ While on business trips using flat videos directly through HC

                    The gush is my toy of choice because it’s portable, convenient and discrete while passing security at the airport. In top of that I got freaking great pleasure out of it.

                    As you see I used to connect via HC app but since you started the transition to direct Bluetooth connectivity I experience several problems and would like you to look into it.

                    1/ Can’t get fullscreen mode under HC (iOS version iPad or iPhone)
                    2/ Direct Bluetooth implementation with gush via DEO VR is terrible. Scripts play nowhere near as accurate as through HC and toy don’t stop while leaving a video (becomes unresponsive).

                    I understand that you want to discontinue HC in the future but how can I use your product and the gush on iOS device ?

                    Concerning direct Bluetooth in deovr could you look at love se gush please there is something really wrong there

                      naughtysteph hi, thank you for reporting! We are looking into the issue with full screen, hopefully we can resolve it before the end of the week.
                      For the Gush connection, I believe you should still be able to use HC, instead of direct connection, or do you have any trouble with it?
                      But I will check with the team about Gush connection in the meantime

                          Kieshi it still worth with HC but was hoping to simplify the setup while using Q3 by dropping HC. The sooner this is fixed the better !
