They bleed money trying to become the sole player, and as soon as they do, they cut quality to the bone and give cutomers the minimum. Sometimes an artisan will try to re-intoduce a quality product, but quality products cost money and by then people have gotten used to the cheap plastic shit the market leader is producing and they cant get enough traction. Capitalism at it's finest - appeal to the lowest common denominator, and fuck anyone who wants a quality product because its all about the almighty PROFIT.

        Nobody is giving this shit away for free. Of course the object is to make money, and cost cutting is one way to do that but given the level of innovation going onto the SLR platform and tooling they don’t seem like they are cost cutting to me.

          RockyMtHigh what about customers who are rude to said business owners? How do you feel about them? Do they have a right to be rude or should they participate in civil discourse and air their grievances in a productive manner - or better yet, provide solutions to problems they see rather than direct attacks on the character or others?

          Personally I’m surprised you are still in the forum given some of the rude and unproductive comments I see you post. I’ve banned customers from my product’s forum for similar behavior.

          The best advice I ever got was “don’t come to me with problems, only come to me with solutions.”Perhaps if you see a problem try coming with a way to solve that problem rather than a frustrated attack?

              Sperson they don’t really have a right to or not to be rude. I agree that discourse is best. That said, Business owners should know how to communicate (or simply ignore) rude commentary. It’s really not that hard to politely reply to critique.

              That’s what I’m talking about, not the product or anything, he’s just a bad look. The solution is to be kind and stop trolling his own customers lol. That’s not a crazy idea, it’s common business acumen.

              I’m a business owner as well, seeing how he and others interact with paying customers aka the most important people to a business is unacceptable. I wouldn’t have it in my company, but I am careful who I hire for PR. If you honestly don’t see issues with his communication style, I guess we can just agree to disagree.

              I don’t really care anymore tbh, his response to me mentioning professionalism was to fuck off, so I think it’s a lost cause and I’m just going to use this site for its intended purpose lol.

                  LordCrash I agree, sometimes a little more context may be helpful in understanding the thought process. What the problem to be solved or feature to be added, why it’s important to us the users, and what feedback they are looking for from us.

                  Unless that is the purpose of these threads is simply to generate conversation and see where things go organically then separate the wheat from the chaff (productive suggestions, from the negative comments) because I mean you look at some of these threads @doublevr can easily generate 100 comments in a couple days from only posting a sentence or two, and even if only 5-10 of those are productive it’s still generating useful data.

                      RockyMtHigh given your statement that they (the customer) don’t really have the right to be rude, then I challenge you to back through your comment history and review some of your comments. Perhaps some of your opinions may have provoked the types of responses you dislike.

                      With the location of the company I’m guessing @doublevr may be ESL and sometimes the context of the question could be lost in translation.

                            I'd say most men when they watch porn they have a set of positions they enjoy (varies a lot between people)... some even like it in a particular order and be done.

                            A feature for you guys to consider would be to create your own "personalised experience" where the customer can configure all the positions he like with a duration set that they prefer... just once.

                            The moment you click a video and choose "personalised experience".. it will play the video based on your preferences and order in a Tiktok-y fashion. Even more amazing is if you could populate an extra feed with all the videos that match your preferences that contains all the positions with the durations to "create" that personalised video on the fly.

                            Just an idea but in general I wouldn't engage this idea too much. The reason why watchtime is 7 minutes over an hour video is the fact that the positions men enjoy varies a lot. I might love "prone bone" but another guy might hate it and skip instant. One person loves the talking and another person thinks its filler BS and goes straight to action.

                            Don't blindly stare at data but contextualize it to your business use case and target audience.

                              It’s interesting that, when I politely commented on a couple of scenes that 2 hours plus was too long for a porn scene, I got downvoted and criticised to death and yet now people are admitting they just skip to the bits they want to see.

                              I personally would like to be able to have the immersive experience of watching a scene from start to finish as it’s intended to be watched but I’m never going to sit through two hours. It’s just a waste of time and money to make stuff that long as practically no one will ever sit through it.

                              I’d much rather they used their time getting the camera positions correct and optimal for each sexual position rather than just shooting for hours in a couple of fixed camera positions. At the moment they don’t really seem to care about optimal camera position, they have so much to shoot in a short length of time that they just need to get as much as they can out of each camera position to limit how many times they have to move the camera and reset everything.

                              I’m not saying I want 7 or 8 minute scenes but they shouldn’t be over an hour imo. You should be able to set the scene in about 10 minutes or so (if it’s just fucking your girlfriend, then even less) and then 30-40 min sex is more than enough to cover blowjob/cowgirl/missionary/doggy if those are the positions you want to include.

                                petermc ten people commenting doesn’t equate to general preference. I may spend 3, 7, or 45 minutes in a two hour Nash masterpiece … all depending on how much I’ve got in me and if I had started on that scene or it took four other scenes to get me there. I’m still one who’s very happy to have a large amount of content to choose from in that scene. And yes one day I might get off on an exquisite tease opener, and another day I might skip straight to the Mish section. Choose your own adventure is a beautiful thing, and I’m one to change things up often, and I like to combine scenes to create larger fantasies and themes depending on where my fantasy mind is that day (or hour of that day if it’s a third session). Fact that there’s two hours of footage to choose from is a real value add to me personally.

I’m sure putting together the occasional two hour film with the same performer(s) that was made up of five separate 25 minute scenes with beginning, middle, and ends story-wise, and different outfits, storylines, and positions focused on could me an interesting change of pace and give others what they ask for: manageable full experiences. More preparation and more work to be sure, but it would definitely be different.                                       It is not a straight line from average time spent in a scene = people want shorter scenes, of course. An average figure will probably take into account a ton of people who click on the video, decide they’re not into girl after a couple of minutes and click out again i.e people who don’t actually watch the video. The nature of porn also means some people will watch for a few minutes, jerk off and then, once they’ve finished, they obviously don’t continue watching! I doubt you’ll find too many people though who regularly sit down to watch a 2 hour plus scene. You used to get whole porn features (probably still do) with a story and 5 or 6 scenes in that last 2 hours in total.

                                      I just think if you spend less time shooting footage, you have more time to perfect and vary the footage you are shooting (quality over quantity) and more people will be able to enjoy the whole experience rather than getting bored and skipping to the next bit.

                                      Just my opinion though, yours is equally valid.

                                          I just saw the trailer and it looks great, love the cool music with her showing off her body having a good time, and then she acknowledged me the viewer. I like that! we need more scene like that!
