It is not a straight line from average time spent in a scene = people want shorter scenes, of course. An average figure will probably take into account a ton of people who click on the video, decide they’re not into girl after a couple of minutes and click out again i.e people who don’t actually watch the video. The nature of porn also means some people will watch for a few minutes, jerk off and then, once they’ve finished, they obviously don’t continue watching! I doubt you’ll find too many people though who regularly sit down to watch a 2 hour plus scene. You used to get whole porn features (probably still do) with a story and 5 or 6 scenes in that last 2 hours in total.

I just think if you spend less time shooting footage, you have more time to perfect and vary the footage you are shooting (quality over quantity) and more people will be able to enjoy the whole experience rather than getting bored and skipping to the next bit.

Just my opinion though, yours is equally valid.

    damian In my case it also depends on the girl. If she's a really good actor, I enjoy long intros, if she has nice labia leaned back cowgirl girl gets much more interesting, doggy needs a nice ass and/or back, etc.

    Also the cue points at the moment are not good enough in all cases. Sometimes the positions don't match the tags or the timestamp is slightly wrong.

      I just saw the trailer and it looks great, love the cool music with her showing off her body having a good time, and then she acknowledged me the viewer. I like that! we need more scene like that! A studio dedicated to the viwer with the headset on acknowledgement, let the models speak to us naturally instead of them having to come with some lines for the role they are playing. A Studio can be called YouVR.

                                petermc i suggested shorter scenes a while back too... not <10 min scenes but more like 30-60 mins. enough for a bit of an intro for the people that want that (not me) and then like 5-10 mins in each position. surely we dont need scenes with 20+ min intros and 15+ mins of the same position. outside of harem scenes i dont see much of a case for 1+ hour scenes frankly...

                                    spacepirate there was one recently where the guy was noodling on the piano for about 15 min at the start. It was like being stuck in an elevator or being on hold on a phone call and being forced to listen to some awful easy listening piano music. The girls were making out and stripping off and I couldn’t get into it at all because of the awful music. It also makes no sense that the guy would keep playing in that situation.

                                      The voices of the vocal minority should not be the sole guidepost of product decision. This is as it should be. They should be one data point in evaluation and prioritization of a whole backlog of features. Ideas are always plentiful but resources are finite and some features that seem like they should be simple but are vastly more challenging than imagined due to things the end user can’t see.
