I can't agree more. The R5C debacle was a MASSIVE setback for VR porn. We lost over a year of content just because nobody bothered to film some test footage. (Every studio dropped the ball btw, not just SLR)
Please, film some samples and share them with the community ASAP!

9:20, it's crazy how much cleaner/less noisy the image is! That stupid VR midground/background noise will finally be a non issue, or close enough to non issue (see 9:20, but also 11:59 for zoom in on distant objects)...no more blurry woman's face when the blow job is filmed too far away (and they almost always are). Lmao

LOl yeah the wait is hard. But look at it this way, you'll probably want to buy the upcoming Samsung headset anyway to get the max out of this new resolution, you'll need to wait a few more months anyway (although, Samsung not talking about it during the last Unpacked, was a bad sign, hoping for no more delays)

doublevr Out of curiosity do you know if SLR will offer higher res files like 16k for AVP? (And future capable headsets). It would be a shame to go to all the trouble of using the fancy camera and then only offering downsampled (even if downsampled 16k to 8k looks better than 8k native). Also rumor is AVP will have an m4 version soon, which would support AV1. Then you have Samsung Moohan in the Winter, next Meta 2026 (with a puck and higher res), etc. etc.
