petermc The post on here about default anal scenes has not materialised so he is complaining about something which hasnât happened yet nor do I expect it to.
doublevr Shooting BGGA by default. A is for Anal. Where possible
When the boss states an intention going forward - which it what this post was - it is legitimate to reply to it.
petermc That there should be no performance, no dirty talk, just quietly whimpering âI love youâ in your ear and then staring tenderly in your eyes as you gently make love. Basically removing the entertainment side from adult entertainment.
This is why I said you misunderstood the post. The author was remarking that there could be more realistic scenes, and not to the degree you are suggesting. There was certainly a degree of exagerration going on, but it is often remarked upon in comments when girls are over-the-top yammering ridiculous porn dialogue the entire time.
petermc Normal girls arenât out there fucking hundreds of strangers on camera for money. Only slutty girls do that and I donât mean that in a derogatory way. You have to be someone who wants sex all the time in order to do that job. So yeah, lots of girls in porn look like slutty strippers because thatâs what they are and they would tell you that themselves.
Yes, and they are also acting roles in those parts. They manage to act like secretaries, schoolgirls, cosplay characters, and even weird aliens - all things I am sure they are not, even if they are all "slutty strippers" ( I disagree, btw. I know a not inconsiderable number of adult actresses and sex workers, and they are not all "slutty strippers"). The point was that the scenarios in which they are acting could include more normal and realistic set-ups a little more frequently. It's not out of the question to meet a person in a hotel bar on a trip, hook-up, and have normal (though undoubtably hot) sex. It's much more likely that that happens than that the person spews a non-stop steam of porn stereotype dirty talk and howls like a banshee while begging you to do some porn-y thing - so for god's sake, stop shooting it that way. VR is mainly about immersion, and it is much easier to become immersed in a scene that is at least remotely plausible than some boring old porn stereotype that we've all seen a thousand times. Arguing that it it just has to be like every other flat-porn sterotype that we've been watching since the 70s - but in 3D - is a waste of the medium, imo. Might as well bring back the cheesy porn guitar licks, too.
They don't ALL have to be that way, but the boss did say he was changing the DEFAULT (though @justsomedude101 clarified things later). I still think we should have more of this, and less sterotype porn. Get models who are great at VR (meaning they have a modicum of acting talent and can sell it) and shoot them, instead of trying to land every new girl in their first VR whether they understand how to use the medium or not. And if you must have all newbies all the time, at least direct them better. Storyboard it for them. Explain how to sell it. Explain why the positions need to be shot in a certain way. Have them be aware of at what point their head will be cut off, or at what point they will be too close to the camera, or how back arching or weird lean-backs distort the fisheye image. Lately it seems that you just book people and hope for the best, and you seem to be focused more on run-of-the-mill gimmick filled 3D porn, instead of the immersive VR that you were GREAT at.
