Just to clarify, I am not advising that the films be cut haphazardly at some random point. I'm saying that a well devised scene that requires 1 hour or more of VR content, and would be a massive download in one part, suggests the need for a little experimental revision.
Certain positions from these massive films could be included in longer BTS supplements to the main film. So, you have your main film with its story and all those elements...
Then, you have a "Making of" component, or something like that, which would include a little interview, maybe a body tour or something kinky, and the other positions from the main film.
This way the current resources of SLR might be streamlined more effectively: You have great editors, a solid film crew, but the current offerings aren't as strong in narrative as the earlier films (which is, in part, a consequence of the massive production schedule currently undertaken).
Many companies adopt a policy like this over time. Take the infamous GDP, with their feature films, BTS, and GDT eps. BackroomCastingCouch has been experimenting with BTS eps.
I think this is a solid option to provide better content for most users (who have the hard limit of 20 GB for direct Android upload -- to their devices -- and also want the option to download content, in addition to streaming).
@g2kbuffetboy Dude, know your porn. Dream Team was split in two parts. Just search for it. There's a "sneak preview" that is an excellent film in and of itself. I highly recommend it: they should do more work with John Strong, 'cause that guy has stamina!
