7 min watchtime of 1h long videos - Something must be wrong about it

Great idea. As always.
If you can't reduce downloads any further, because too many users get angry, just spilt each scene, so you need more downloads for the same amount of content.
ZENRA Thanks for bringing up that possibility. I figured they were axing small studios one by one thinking no one would know or care, with this thread as proof. CzechVRCasting is another one, even though it would seem compliant.
I'm not surprised if they would think something like "Surely no one watches any of these, let alone 5-7 minutes. Why stay on the site?" These small studios are why I subscribed, so it's saddening to see them go one by one.

Rakly3 As long as this doesn't lead to more unnecessary cuts and edits I'm fine with that. I fast-forward scenes all the time anyway. Could be actually helpful when done properly.
I don't know why you guys don't simply make a proper thread for stuff like this in which you present new concepts and stuff instead of these buzzword nonsense threads. I think a thread called "New feature: Interactive scenes in which you can fast-forward to certain positions" in which you explained how that is going to work (maybe even with a few screenshots and stuff...) would have been welcomed by the community while such a thread here is rather seen as another quick mind fart. Framing is everything...
Rakly3 Doesn't work like that. It will still be the full video, but you can jump in straight at the part (position) you are interested in. and between scenes with the same kind of action.
Then what would be different?
You already can jump to whatever section you like, at least if the video is tagged right.
Part of the reason I download videos is because I could cut it into custom segments and only play the segments I am interested in.
If SLR would allow users to create segments themselves and make the video player automatically play only those segments, that definitely sounds like a great idea. But if SLR is going to create predefined segments and force the users to watch the predefined segments, it sounds terrible.
wmfewmgkqoozlnzmnn povr/wankz/milfvr do a great trim and edit feature, just a shame they can't be downloaded.
someoneX guess I meant studios that have videos with small number of likes, years old with no new releases on SLR. That and PetersPrimoVR.
Fantastica, also recently got kicked into the Sandbox, if that's any indicator. I don't know what changed for that to happen, but a move like this, it's not hard to imagine they would be the first big JAV studio to get let go without having too big an impact, since based on the number of likes from new releases, less than 1% of users watch these. Percentages seem to be driving the changes around here now. I've been holding my peace all this time, but then this weird thread pops up. 
I for one would enjoy shorter videos IF, and only IF, they were focused on things I liked. Maybe not seven minutes, but certainly 20 to 30 minutes like VR Edging. I generally watch the entire video, starting at about 5 minutes (I don't like the introductory stuff).
For example, instead of the performers going through every sexual position imaginable in each video, maybe they do only certain ones? I prefer cowgirl, BJs, and HJs. Other people like Missionary, doggie, and whatever.
I generally skip through the parts of the videos I don't like, so I might only watch 15 minutes of an hour long video. But I'd watch the whole think if it only had positions I liked.
Also, is that an average? Does it include when people watch a video for a few seconds and then they change it because they don't like it? So, if I watched thee videos, two for 30 seconds, and another for 30 minutes, that means I found one video that I liked and two I didn't like. It doesn't mean that I want to see only 7 minute videos.
Finally--don't you work for or manage SLR?
Some of your posts here are getting strange--almost as if you resent the members or want to provoke them.
