VeiledPrivateer yea like it loads correctly since it appears, the problem is that it appears behind the actually scene, and if you rotate the y-axis, you will see the subtitles right there

Seriously, I can't enjoy my JAVs. Please. It's been almost 2 moths. I refuse to believe a simple UI sorting issue takes that long to fix...

And I know it's old at this point but surely you guys can at least make subtitles work for us. Everything else works fine.

Because, as I suspected, I was told by @AlexSLR via e-mail that the Rift S is pretty old and not fully supported. However i'm pretty damn sure it's a global issue and not limited to my old shitty device lol. It's just not reported a lot because people who use subtitles on DeoVR are pretty scarce.

AlexSLR Just checking in, haven't gotten any update in a while. It's been months now and this issue still happens.
VeiledPrivateer So far, we haven’t been able to replicate the problem on our end, which makes it a bit more challenging to investigate and identify the cause.
As a result, it’s taking us a little longer than usual to get everything sorted out, but please rest assured that our team is working on it.
AlexSLR Oh, I'm surprised to hear that. That,s something I would have liked to know before. Pretty much everyone that I talk to who uses srt files locally seem to have the issue 100% repro so I assumed it was a slam dunk.

Don,t know if you had a ticket going but I thought you might want to be updated on the matter.
No details were given on how or what happened but the issue has been fixed.
At least, it works for me. If you still can't see subtitles, make a new ticket, mine has been closed.
VeiledPrivateer I used method to restore DeoVR to an extremely old version, and my issue was resolved faster than their engineers could address it. I may try their "solved" new version later.
