I’ve made my opinion clear but I will add this….
On the one hand, I can understand not making a full throated apology because that is an admission of guilt and opens one up to litigation. It’s merely self preservation, and the American legal system can be very cutthroat. If, hypothetically any of us were in a similar situation I’m sure we would seek legal counsel and be walking on eggshells with any statements we put out. On the other hand, what’s been shared of his “apology” and how he presents himself on social media doesn’t exactly paint a very sympathetic picture. At best, he’s incredibly immature and unprofessional in how he presents himself, which doesn’t exactly say much for his potential innocence.
Again, I’m a guy who watches porn….I'm not so invested in any of this that I’d even for a second consider cancelling my account and I think anyone who does so is foolish. There’s far, far more significant causes to fight for in today’s world than this. I barely care, let adults make decisions for themselves and if they think he’s dangerous, by all means don’t work with him. But as others have said, if it was my business, I’d certainly take pause before working with someone who acts this way.
