Wendigo Sometimes it seems that you want to just port gonzo non-POV flat porn to VR. Which, again, is fine if that is what floats your boat, but I think it is a waste of the immersive experience that VR can offer.

Not true, POV is an absolute must for me and lots of story based flat porn has plenty of performance and dirty talk within the sex scene.

You’re right though that I’m looking for VR porn to be more pornographic, to see more scenes where people fuck like pornstars. I want to be transported into the porn scenes that I watched in flat porn were I’m now the one fucking the pornstars. Porn is not about realistic depictions of sex, it never has been, it’s a fantasy, it’s entertainment. It’s not about degradation kink either, just about saying hot filthy things that turn you both on. You can still be intimate and filthy at the same time. Only the most intimate couples can engage in kinky stuff like that. Watching endless boring “realistic” scenes is not my idea of pornography. Not to break it to you but normal people don’t have sex for an hour and do all the positions, most girls aren’t going to blow you every time either. None of it is realistic.

            True, and I like them for that, but there are still plenty of exclusively VR studios who are not or are no longer on SLR. They are not impervious to losing business. I don't want them to lose business, I'm merely stating that it could potentially happen if customers are not satisfied with their VR output. And I'm really not sold that AR fans are gonna fill that gap. It's all speculation at this point but that's what this thread is for.

              theHobbit Nash is the least popular director based on averaging likes for the last 22 scenes. Simense are killing it.

              A valid point and a good exercise. Simsense is 100% killing it. Even though I am not a fan of PT, it is undeniable Simsense and SLR has done wonders with PT, and I'm positive they will improve it even more with Nash. It is also undeniable that PT is firing on all cylinders right now and it's what everyone is curious about. Meta seriously owes SLR a quarter of their Quest 3 sales to them lol. It's the reason why I bought a Quest 3 anyways, because I wanted to try PT out.

              But a counter metric to your data. Here are the average likes from each director, of their last 20 SLR scenes. (And I did not include the Render-Pleasure scenes for Simsense as they were very low, and repeat scenes).

              Based off this, Nash does have more likes, though only by a narrow margin. It is surely a testament to Simsense to be pulling these numbers, no doubt.

              Anyways, overall, I have mentioned previously that "likes" are only part of the story, but since that is the only forward-facing metric we can use, it's the only one that we can really compare at this point. So, personally, I take this with a grain of salt.

                  Everything sounds good except no 3. Nash has actually enough work to do with creating VR content. His recent VRSpy scenes are some of the best fucking VR scenes of the past few months or even years. Way better than most other VR content on SLR, including his own work. That's what I expect from SLR on a constant basis. Taking even a few hours of his precious time away for inferior and limited AR stuff is a travesty.

If you really wanted to compare preferences, you'd need to release a Nash vid and a PT vid of the same actress on the same day and see which format people prefer to experience that performer in. Even that may be suspect, as a lot of new subs have signed on for the PT, and old subs may have left due to the decline in regular VR quality. In that case, all you are really proving is that you've changed the fanbase, which is fine if its bigger, otherwise it's just zero-sum churn. Not to mention that Simsense is going to get a lot of likes simply because most of the newer and in-demand stars get shot in PT first.

                        My point is that your preference from traditional pornography is still a preference for a particular type of fantasy. GFE VR, intimate VR, etc is a different type of fantasy made possible by the medium that ISN"T really possible in flat porn. We need to nurture it, not complain that it "isn't pornography", or that it isn't the "future". And we certainly don't need to indulge those few choice members who derogate it by saying that those who enjoy it must be sexless nerds or not real men.

                              I agree, he's a condescending little bully. Ignoring bullies is one sensible course of action. Mocking them is another. His tiny pea brain doesn't scare me and I rather enjoy watching him cope. SLR team can look the other way but I don't have to. In the end, every bully has his day.

                                We seem to be drifting away from the topic of dirty talk in scenes. I’m not sure what you mean when you say GFE porn is not possible in flat porn, it absolutely is. You don’t have the closeness and eye contact but you can still do vanilla porn with no dirty talk.

                                I’m also not suggesting anyone stop making anything. I was responding to someone else asking for them to stop including dirty talk in scenes by saying that I disagree with that suggestion.

                                Like I said, GFE porn, where people make love and whisper sweet nothings to each other, absolutely has its place. I don’t want to deny people that and I sometimes enjoy it myself. It should be part of a larger variety of content though rather than the sole aim of VR porn as some seem to want. You can still be intimate without being vanilla. You can also explore your filthier fantasies with amazingly beautiful women in porn which you don’t get to do in real life, that’s part of porn too. It’s not all about trying to recreate a real life encounter with a nice girl, though it can be that. It’s also about having crazy sex with sex crazed nymphos too and everything in between.                                                 Yes, sorted by "Newest" x each director. It's not a perfect science as @Wendigo mentions, as there are many reasons for "likes" (models, passthrough vs standard, timing, scripts, etc) and of course other metrics we do not see. But yeah, that is how I got the numbers up above.

                                                                When some of you change your rude unconstructive tone towards SLR, then maybe I will change mine. A small minority of you enjoy threatening to leave (and yet don't), pushing other studios to leave, demanding that SLR do what you want whilst ignoring the wants of other customers etc. You operate as a toxic group and then single me out and call me a bully etc. It's pathetic lol.
