More or less (wouldn;t use the word tawdry, but rather "less grand"). Used to have an annual sub at Wankz/MILFVR because they used to pump out really good sscenes with good actresses (Kali Roses, Gina Valentina being regulars) and good stories (Stepmom's Little Helper, the Easter/Xmas scenes, Downward Doggystyle, Circle of Wife, Bargain Banging...) Now most scenes are around 40-50 mins (as if they have some "limit"), rather vanilla without much innovation.

Similarly for SLRO, just getting the feeling that scenes are shorter lately, with 1 hr+ grand productions rarer and rarer (the most recent decent watchable FFM production being the Lexi Stone+Jill Kassidy scene, which by the way was good, the Mile High Club simply wasn't watchable for me). Is it because Nash is in Europe and other directors do not like to shoot long scenes? Good storylines are more and more sparse (with the exception of the Blake series). I know these are trends and hopefully do not reflect a real change in direction (e.g. pump out more shorter scenes in exchange for less longer grand productions)

Not taking in to account that there are many users who prefer amateur scenes. Without platforms like SLR, these studios would not even have a chance to start up. shrinking the industry to even less high quality publications.

Rakly3 It's 2023, and SLRO can't consistently nail lighting, angles, distance, scale, audio, editing, cutting the model's head off - most studios that have been around as long as you have sorted this out years ago. Does that sound like high quality to you? But instead of focusing on that - which we ask for all the time - you give us journeys, and shorts, and passthrough, and airplanes, while limiting downloads, streaming quality, and what player we can use.

So, we'll fire all the coder teams because there's an issue with the producer.

Will65 Also, you seem to think that everyone signs up to SLR for all crap studios you add. I'm pretty sure that most of us have all that stuff filtered out. I subscribed years ago for the quality of SLRO, which has declined.

You're flipping the exact opposite point I was making on it's head. The point was that not every one want or watches only the high class videos.

I dunno how most of the things work, but as someone who has been consuming VR content ever since the good old cardboard vr days, what I can say is, as technology improves, quality of the videos change, and they are especially more pronounced in VR. The camera that they use affect a lot of things other than just the "quality" like it was with 2d scenes. Even older scenes that used to look great, could look like crap down the line when the headset os gets updated and they change a bunch of stuff like resolution, refresh rate, etc. So there are a bunch of stuff that go into it. It's not as simple as just saying that SLR is doing things wrong.

I personally don't agree with everything that they are doing, but they are doing a bunch of good stuff. Far better than what any other "studio" is doing, which lets just say by they way things are headed most of them are just staring down the barrel of a cannon counting their days.

Porn quality in general has gone down compared to what it was pre pandemic. Onlyfans and bad industry practices are to be blamed for that.

Maybe read through my posting history before setting up a strawman like that. @doublevr is full of it - I have contributed pages of detailed analysis and remedy about what could be better, fixed, etc. Nearly all the time, if I comment that stuff on videos, it is the most liked comment on the thread. It's an ongoing and persistent decline in quality that comes from the management/production side, not Onlyfans. @doublevr is easily the most thin-skinned CEO most of us have ever come across. His reddit rants are legendary. He could post "how's everbody today?" on reddit and get downvoted to -50 because he is so universally reviled. Maybe read the whole thread from the beginning full of people talking about how unprofessional, rude, immature, and tantrumy his creation of this thread is before posting? My beef is with the shitty treatment of customer feedback, the decline of product, and the hypocrisy of the "boss".

while i dont disagree with every thing will says, there's certainly no better way to turn everyone against you than to be repeating yourself on every video. they could just ban you from the site and i'd find nothing wrong with that. find another site thats doing things right. i mean hell, there's no reason on earth why i should be able to recognize some random guys username on here.

Exactly. I don't want to be rude, but I think SLR needs to appreciate that this particular 'look' is a niche that maybe needs to be de-emphasized in their films.

While I'm approaching this as someone with an interest in JAV and Japanese films, where most women look wholesome and lack tattoos, there are many attractive, sweet, and clever American models who'd be a better choice (in my opinion) in the SLR Originals films.

Some models, for instance, are essentially one-and-done for SLR Originals; whereas others are used over and over again (like Melody Marks, who is a fine actress and hot but in virtually every film).

Plenty of women from OnlyFans and social media platforms would probably jump at the chance of an SLR Originals debut. Directors like @alexnash actually know about film-making, and how to help emphasize the attractive characteristics of natural looking female models. While experience is a great asset in the porn world, SLR is missing out on the spontaneity and honest appeal of casting porn. Guys like me at least come here when the GF is away for the purposes of entertainment and a temporary virtual GF substitute. Although many American guys may love the 'vanilla', and not share my appreciation for the cultural elements of JAV, I'd say that more than half the men on here prefer ordinary looking women, as in Girlfriend-like models. I don't know the national statistics for collagen injections and fake plastic boobs in America, but I'm guessing the figure is lower than 50%. Additionally, while women wear crazy exhibitionist clothes for clubbing, they seldom wear provocative clothes on a regular basis while at home.

There are plenty of normal looking women in porn that deserve more than a one and done SLR Originals, like Amber Moore, Stella Sedona, Myra Glasford (upcoming!!!), Adrianna Jade (sadly retired now), Skyler Storm, Athena Heart, Ailee Anne, and Bella Forbes.
