Ways to improve

  1. Casting. The women of recent films don't look human, and this is supposed to be sexlikereal. Pay a little extra and get women directly from BackroomCastingCouch, or FTVGirls. Because some of these women don't have fine acting skills, use that digital voice you used to use to ask them questions.

  2. More BTS in VR180. I don't think I'm the only one who appreciates VR porn as entertainment. It's entertaining to see a naked woman talking to the camera and showing herself off in just regular, unfake activities.

  3. Costuming and make-up. Begin the scenes with your model fully clothed, and end them with her totally naked. Bad lingerie, 3-inch pumps, and 1 inch lashes, shouldn't be the standard for every film. (Tattoos and fakies, while fine in regular porn, look terrible in VR.)

  4. Focus on the actress as much as the fantasy. For what you paid to charter that private jet you could have paid to do everything with one model. You could have arranged a show-off interview, a toys scene, a lez, scene, a bathroom scene, and just about every fetish possible with one model. Over a week you could release daily parts of the scene, like 20 min or every position imaginable. Use the CGC method: closeups, groping, creampie. It works in JAV!

  5. Narrative. At least five minutes of content before the sex starts. Those of us not interested in the foreplay have the option to skip ahead.

  6. You are shooting with Myra Glasford in early August. Take a cue from Rob at FTV. Watch his videos and just repeat them in VR180, because as a VR company you can derive content through remediation, by re-doing in VR earlier, successful scenes.

    Well, I don't know too many extraterrestrial or android women, so I might be wrong, but in the recent SLRO videos, there seemed to be a surpringly high percentage of girls with natural appearances. Do you mean they don't look like what you would call your average neighbourhood girl? I think even this would not be true when looking at the last 30 SLRO productions. And with Venus Vixen and Angel Windell you even had your FTVGirls.

                For instance, where's the link on SLR's website for models to apply directly? New models could do SLR Originals Castings. How hard would it be to create the SLR equivalent of this? http://ftvmodeling.com/#apply Rob gets his models through direct applications. SLR is a fantastic platform, but the leadership is so captivated by the technology that they ignore the basics.

                    Otherwise I don't expect any performer to apply that way. Most of performers have super tight schedule. It takes an effort to get cool cast.

                      They look like streetwalkers. If you've ever picked one up, you'd know that that appearance is optimized to draw attention in a dark, distanced environment, and it looks awful close-up in the light (i.e.., in VR).

                              Will65 this is probably why you have your own thread. You don't know what constructive criticism is and you think you speak for everyone when you talk about what men like and don't like. If I was SLR I'd just ignore you tbh.

Also the name SexLikeReal has nothing to do with what kind of women are being cast, it's a reference to VR. You have some decent points about narrative building, but it's marred by your obvious bias.

                                  Cool, I'll put all my complaints here:

                                  • Not having a separate advanced search feature for those who want it is crazy with the amount of content this site has. Seems like it was implemented a couple of years ago then removed. Not being able to say, search by two keywords while simultaneously SORTING those results is very limiting.

                                  • It's 2023, if you forced all your content creators to film in at least 5K or 6K if they wanted to sell you content they would do it. 4K doesn't cut it anymore.

                                  • There simply aren't enough tags. I'm not suggesting user added tags would be a good idea, but there would be no technical downside to just adding a larger variety of available tags. Just to give one of many examples, for instance, you have 'magic wand' but no way to find videos with regular vibrating sex toys, or suction toys. Those fall under the broad "toys/dildos" tag as it stands.

                                    doublevr You or anybody else from SLR would not respond to my questions about what you said about production and ROI. I asked different places, different times with nothing. So I had to spend 2 hours looking up old statements by you to get you to respond. It looks like it finally worked.

                                    Believe it or not, I believe that our criticism helps put SLR in the right direction. I'm not the only one wanting a 5 minute beginning. You had made statements in the past that you did too, then made a statement in the complete opposite direction.

                                    The longer you just ignored my question the more frustrating it became. Because it made no sense to me. It still doesn't other than just wanting the money.

                                      More or less (wouldn;t use the word tawdry, but rather "less grand"). Used to have an annual sub at Wankz/MILFVR because they used to pump out really good sscenes with good actresses (Kali Roses, Gina Valentina being regulars) and good stories (Stepmom's Little Helper, the Easter/Xmas scenes, Downward Doggystyle, Circle of Wife, Bargain Banging...) Now most scenes are around 40-50 mins (as if they have some "limit"), rather vanilla without much innovation.

                                      Similarly for SLRO, just getting the feeling that scenes are shorter lately, with 1 hr+ grand productions rarer and rarer (the most recent decent watchable FFM production being the Lexi Stone+Jill Kassidy scene, which by the way was good, the Mile High Club simply wasn't watchable for me). Is it because Nash is in Europe and other directors do not like to shoot long scenes? Good storylines are more and more sparse (with the exception of the Blake series). I know these are trends and hopefully do not reflect a real change in direction (e.g. pump out more shorter scenes in exchange for less longer grand productions)

                                          Rustam1990 I try to tell them over and over that if you don't have a story then you just have porn. I can sub to any porn site for just porn. Any company can go hire two hot girls, put them in tons of makeup, maybe a maid outfit and off you go.
                                          No need to say much of anything other than the usual porn lingo. Start with sitting, forward then back, then the big choice to really mix it up. Do you go standing next or laying down next. Pick standing first cause last scene you went laying first. Front then back, boom boom. Laying down boom boom.
                                          Done, 45 minutes copy and paste.

                                          I'm trying to tell them that anybody can do this cause everybody does do this. After scale and distance the only thing you can do to make your site better than the next is the STORY.
