[deleted] So my first thought on that Hailey Rose tweet was to think the worst of her, but then i considered the possibility that maybe she got booked for something like one of those Tadpolex scenes where they wanted her to fuck some legit fat dudes in facemasks or something.
SLR Party Riots

HughMungus If you read further in the comments of that tweet, it's because her boyfriend (now husband) is one of the hottest guys in porn. With such high standards, of course everyone else is ugly. She also said that her face is one of the most beautiful in porn. Maybe they are planning to expand their circle of friends in the industry, maybe it's a braggadocious PR strategy, maybe she lost a bet or they are just stupid. In any case, I decided to separate the art from the artist and to go back to looking just at the porn pics on Twitter.
SchnuppiLilac Ahh ok, i don't have twitter so i couldn't read the comments.

theHobbit I understand your perspective, and I see what you mean, but the way I see it, it is even worse. Not naming someone in particular could imply that the criticism is directed towards a larger group of people "all those aren't literal sex athletes, or not world's most desirable people, and all the ugly performers in the world".
It would be strange if Connie decides to stop shooting for SLR simply because they allowed 2 or 3 negative comments about her body. Models should learn how to handle negative feedback, and that's completely okay, it comes with the territory of being in the industry. Deleting every single negative comment would set SLR apart from most other porn sites, Flat and VR, where such comments are often allowed, as long as nobody's wishing death or cursing anyone. In fact even on Onlyfans you're allowed to do so, as long as you pay. You can literally send a $10 tip with negative feedback, and they will be happy with it and ask for more, since this type of feedback helps them improve themselves. Lol!
Just to be clear, I'm not sharing those tweets to spread hate or make others dislike those models. My point is simple: if they can criticize others and be picky about who they work with, then we should be able to voice our opinions about models' looks too. In the way we want to certain limits of course. And also to expose their hypocrisy (which is kinda off topic) cuz I'm 100% sure they'd both have sex with a random ugly fat ass noseless Voldemort looking dude, if they know he's got XXmillion $ in his bank account.

theHobbit Hard disagree. Models are not sharing their bodies with us out of the goodness of their hearts and thus deserving of only praise. They are selling their bodies and performances to us and are very well compensated for doing so. Their bodies are their product, like it or not. That was their decision, not mine. Product that I am subbed to is open to criticism.
"Poor Connie" makes a lot more money per day than most of us do.
I couldn't imagine following pornstars on social media or learning anything about their personal lives, opinions on the world, etc. Fastest way for me to never want to watch their scenes ever again.
They're selling a fantasy. I hope they work in safe and ethical conditions but beyond that I need that disconnect.

Hairsational It's weird how it looks. The background looks like the right size to me. If the girl is standing 4 feet away from me she looks correct. If I look at my lap it looks too big to me and too far away. I now have giant hands. Plus all the mish and doggy is way way to far away. And the camera is too far forward.
I am assuming that Nash put the camera in the same place that he always does. My nipples are now too far down there. I tried watching "Euro Trip: Good Student" last night. The girl would go to lick my nipples. I would look down at her head and could see my virtual nipples were down where my ribs should be. It's like it is stretching the image at the edges. Also in close up mish, my virtual arms are down by my waist and my hips are way down where my feet should be. All SLR close mish would stretch the hips too far but how it is even worse.
I think that maybe I could fix up some of this with Heresphere to stretch the image back to the correct scale but why do I have to go and spend time fixing the scene. I'm not going to waste a script download on it to try. I can't believe that they would send him to shoot with this camera before knowing all of this. On second thought I can believe it. They said they were going to put out a couple of scene so that everybody could look at them to make sure it was correct before going all in. Did they do that? NO
rerun119 How do you feel about Alex Nash's "Blake and Melody" scene from a few months ago? This is an 8k scene, presumably filmed on a canon. It seemed to have improved scale than the older 8k scenes from last year, but what about the distance issues that you're describing with the 8k Euro scenes? Is it any better/worse/same?

Some of you are seriously missing the point here about what constitutes constructive criticism, and what's appropriate as it pertains to critiquing a performer's body. There's a difference between saying "she's not for me" and "I hate these fake looking models. How can anyone like this? Porn should feature models that I like!" Some nuance would be nice.
g2kbuffetboy I'll have to go back and watch it again.
If I remember the picture quality wasn't as good and the image was really blurry on the edges. And my lap was too far away.
@alexnash put out Breast Friends for SLR with the normal camera right before this scene. That scene looked perfect in everyway to me. So I remember being super excited for Blake and Melody. As soon as I turned it on I could tell it wasn't as good. I can't put my finger on it other than something just don't feel right. Scale and picture
I said something about it looking blurry and why did he change to this camera when the other scene was perfection. Someone said that they watched with Heresphere and it didn't look blurry. I downloaded it and Heresphere did fix the blurriness with the auto focus. Plus zooming worked a lot better at keeping everything looking more normal.
I didn't think the picture quality was better, I thought it was worse.
The Euro picture looks ok although I still think overall the older camera looks better for sharpness or what ever it is.
doublevr That's a strange way to treat a customer. Did he do something bad?
Hairsational A small number of users tend to spam a complaint they might have across numerous threads on the Forum on a daily basis, regardless of its relevance to the thread - so we're tightening down on that.
Instead they can share their complaints in this thread as often as they'd like, as long as it's respectful.
Joker7 So, you made a thread for users to complain in, and then you ban them when they complain in it?
See my post above.
If you (or anyone) have feedback/criticisms/etc., feel free to share them in relevant threads. No one is stopping you from doing that. But there is a VAST difference between 1.) sharing your complaints and providing critical feedback where it's relevant, and 2.) spamming the same complaint across dozens of posts and threads.
99.9% of commenters don't do option #2, so this thread was made for those who do.
justsomedude101 check his posts history. We probably want to ban these right away

As a commenter it's natural to give feedback in the thread where the relevant discussion is happening rather than in an unrelated thread. Are you saying there is some unknown (to a commenter) threshold for when feedback should be directed to this thread instead? What if a commenter wants to reply to someone? Also, why is this odd rule only being enforced on the forum and not in scene comments where there are people spamming the same comment for many scenes and the comments are far more visible?

theHobbit not naming or singling anybody in particular
There are other examples of this general feature of the recent films at SLR. Far be it from me to challenge you if you are into Lizzo, like most Americans, or guys, like many Americans, or trans, like more than 10% of American University students... My point is that for the vast majority of patrons who pay for porn this isn't what they're looking for. SLR can keep shooting this stuff all they want. I'm just saying that in my opinion it's not a profitable venture. To maintain a monthly or yearly subscription at SLR is costly, at least for most foreigners whose money isn't worth as much (as you will soon experience in America, seeing your recent downgrade from AAA to AA+, wow!) SLR must maintain a stream of good, if not excellent films. POVR is $15.00 per month. Badoink is on special for $10.00. One could subscribe to both of those sites for less than an SLR Premium account at $29 USD. While Alex Nash and On the Telly are incredible directors, I'll probably subscribe to them intermittently soon based on the particular niche characteristics of their casting.
theHobbit Jessica Starling
I downloaded one of her videos to check it out. I haven't downloaded any other videos of her from SLR. I think she has too much plastic surgery, so she's not my type. However, I can see how she'd be appealing to mainstream viewers of porn. If you are into her, she dances at a place called "The Brass Rail" in Toronto, where each fully nude dance costs about half of an SLR membership. She has talked about this, and you can look up the price and what they do at the club.

I think @Will65 has contributed meaningful discussion and debate to this forum. I don't like to be critical; I much prefer giving compliment to criticism. But @doublevr has ambitions to make SLR popular. The best way to do that is to look at successful sites. I think he should look at FTVGirls, which has been around for 30 years and made its owner, a former dentist, own the 7th most expensive house in Tempe, Az. He could look at Backroomcastingcouch, which has introduced new models for about 15 years. (FTV is 20 years old.) Another site to look at is AbbyWinters, which is more than 20 years old. PornHub probably isn't the best comparison, since they made money as a pirate site and now mostly lose money (except for the advertising bucks) since embracing only registered accounts. One shared characteristic of these sites is that most of their models are young, have not shot much porn, are willing to go the extra mile (for good pay), and embrace BTS content. The majority of their models, if covered in tattoos, at least have tasteful tattoos (most, not all).

YES!! Where have girls like this gone?? Lexus Locklear post implants. Jenna Jameson. Devon. Briana Banks, etc. etc. The sexy, slutty glamorous barbie dolls. Where have they gone? Do they not exist anymore? Are they all on OnlyFans?
Seems every girl with larger breasts now is 'curvy' (to use the polite, politically correct term)
Just not that attracted to so many of the current castings.
