  • Two Screens - this is a MASSIVE improvement from Leaks, a big boost for resolution!

  • Decreased DRAM from 12GB (leaks) to 8GB

  • LCD without a quantum dot layer

  • Reduced in price outside America (smart move!)

  • Allegedly the POV has increased. Let's hope this is accurate and perceptible.

    So that is suggesting:
    Q3: visible FOV of 104 and a rendered FOV of 110 degrees (Q2: visible FOV of 97 and rendered FOV of 104)

        The initial leaks from SadlyitsBradley on Youtube indicated there would be two LCD panels instead of a single LCD panel for the front display. However, Brad later corrected this information, stating that the design had been changed to a single panel. The final product features two adjustable LCD panels, providing approximately a 30% boost in pixels due to IPD adjustment. This results in a more immersive experience for the user.

        Additionally, the lower price point outside the US and the reduction in DRAM are both positive developments for SLR. While 12GB of DRAM may be beneficial for gaming, the lower price point and resolution are both very good news for SLR. VR180 films should play just fine with 8GB DRAM.

            You mean because they had lowered the announced prices by 20 bucks a few days ago? Because the prices, at least in the UK and EU, are still about $80 above the US price.

                • Wow, the US dollar has lost lots of value recently. Someone told me it was losing close to 3% per month, but this is crazy.
                • Meta calculated the prices equivalent to $500 USD in early summer 2023. Now you are right, because of the crash of American currency foreigners are paying more. I was wrong, SchnuppiLac! You were right!

                    Smh, one thing I'm noticing about these hands on reviewers is no one really seems mind blowned by any of the pass through games, even the stranger things game they played has pass through and they just describe it as meh, the pass through it self they say is better then quest pro, but no real mind blowing experience im finding from any of these hands on reviewers.

                      Vrsumo2017 I found that first encounters is amazing i mean just imagine a space ship breaking your ceiling and landing in front of you lol. This is what one of the reviewers saw

                                Said exactly what I thought looking at these games meta revealed at connect and a few months back. Smh

                                They need more Rated mature videos games, imo, I like blades and sorcery its really gruesome, I'll be slapping these viking hotties, chopping them up into torsos lol 😆

                                But it gets real repetitive after a while, I'll stop playing it for a while, months, guess I might jump in it today see what new mods they got, I still haven't figured out how to do the nude mods, lol but you know. Lol idk.

                                But yeah meta needs more Rated M games.

                                LOLBRUH It can only scan what it can see. If you walk around your house with the headset on then it can (and knowning Meta, probably does) scan the house.
