ordered the 128gb, I never used the space 256gb on my quest 2 as pretty much I stream everything. Amazon telling me that it will be with me on the 10th Oct.

Yeah, same here...not holding my breath since originally it was ballparked for Q4 of 2022, and now there's not a whole lot of info coming out while they're pushing the Crystal 😞

The $150 upsell for the 512gb seems obscene to me. Storage is incredibly cheap these days.

justsomedude101 yeah I agree - if they had 256gb option I may have gone for that for a few quid extra but for the extra I am saving that will sort my subscription out to SLR for another year almost 🙂

I totally agree, but when I travel (which I plan to use this for), 128GB can only hold like 15-20 scenes. I like to have some variety lol.

I wish the USB-C port could be used with a thumb drive, but I'm reading that it can't?

Two Screens - this is a MASSIVE improvement from Leaks, a big boost for resolution!
Decreased DRAM from 12GB (leaks) to 8GB
LCD without a quantum dot layer
Reduced in price outside America (smart move!)
Allegedly the POV has increased. Let's hope this is accurate and perceptible.

The initial leaks from SadlyitsBradley on Youtube indicated there would be two LCD panels instead of a single LCD panel for the front display. However, Brad later corrected this information, stating that the design had been changed to a single panel. The final product features two adjustable LCD panels, providing approximately a 30% boost in pixels due to IPD adjustment. This results in a more immersive experience for the user.

Additionally, the lower price point outside the US and the reduction in DRAM are both positive developments for SLR. While 12GB of DRAM may be beneficial for gaming, the lower price point and resolution are both very good news for SLR. VR180 films should play just fine with 8GB DRAM.

Wow, the US dollar has lost lots of value recently. Someone told me it was losing close to 3% per month, but this is crazy.

Smh, one thing I'm noticing about these hands on reviewers is no one really seems mind blowned by any of the pass through games, even the stranger things game they played has pass through and they just describe it as meh, the pass through it self they say is better then quest pro, but no real mind blowing experience im finding from any of these hands on reviewers.

LOLBRUH It can only scan what it can see. If you walk around your house with the headset on then it can (and knowning Meta, probably does) scan the house.
