  • Why am I unable to comment on videos?

spacepirate2 Ah, so it's an environmental complaint about recycling manufactured polymers. We should do better in the future to look after the planet. Point taken.

I don't get your objection. Is white-knighting models really helpful on a forum that ostensibly seeks feedback on choice of models? I didn't say "CJ Miles is gross", I commented on a particular genre of models - surgically altered, unrealistic pointed brestes (Lenina Crowne is another good example), tatted on eyebrows, lip injections, etc. It's well established that this is a genre of porn that people like or do not like. Customers also comment on not liking models with tats or piercings, saying IN COMMENTS that they ruin the scene or that they find it unattractive. Do we ban them?

I fail to see how we can express an opinion about a particular class or genre of actress (alt, BBW, big tits, whatever) without running afoul of what you seem to be objecting to - except to refer to the class or genre, not the actress, like I did. If I said that I think CJ Miles is yucky and ugly and shouldnt be on my feed, that is personal. If I say I don't like plastic models, alt models, goth models, BBW models, teen models, ect then I am commenting on the casting director's choice of category, not a person per se. So no, I did not "call a woman's body yuck".

Mutiny If you'd like to discuss, that is useful. Snark is not, and we already get too much of that from SLR staff.

How about the comment on this video, by @LordCrash

        https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/sharing-my-neighbors-massive-cock-32838

"Without the ridiculously ugly tats Demi would probably be one of the hottest women on planet earth. Well, that's how to show mother nature the finger, I guess... 😃"

Not deleted. Directly attacking the actress as ugly, and yet still commenting on videos and tone-policing ME!

As always, moderation is arbitrary on SLR, and usually comes when you criticize the direction of the site or the staff. Clearly it isn't that my comment was just so offensive...

Will65 You said "plastic performers" in your intial comment here which is direct name calling of some people and pretty insulting. "Plastic model" is not an official genre, it's an insulting term invented by you.

Is it soooooooo hard to simple state "I'm a lot more into natural girls and I hope that you'll shoot more with them in the future again." instead?

Show some respect to the people working their ass of so that you can wank one off.

Mutiny And this comment, from user stm93 on https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/private-lessons-32313 still stands:

"I just wonder... are these girls forced into having boob jobs? Because I can't for the life of me imagine anyone mutilating their bodies like that, willingly. It doesn't look good. It's ugly. Misshapen. An instant turn off. Porn actresses need to stop doing that, and porn industry has to stop forcing it on them. Producers who force these girls to have these awful boob jobs should hang their heads in shame."

My comment was positively measured and reserved in comparison.

Will65 My objection is that it's foolishness to continually state that you don't like a thing other people like. It's not for you. That's fine. "Don't yuck other people's yum" is a cliche at this point.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but the world will not stop turning at your request. There will always be those among us who enjoy the augmented aesthetic, and as long as you frequent porn sites, you will see it. You are welcome to avert your eyes and go on about your day like a grown up.

I would honestly love to know what you do like. But while some people wake up every day and seek happiness, others wake up and seek despair. Not much I can do for those people.

Will65 Not deleted. Directly attacking the actress as ugly, and yet still commenting on videos and tone-policing ME!

I wrote that her tats are imho ugly. I neither called her names nor did I say that she's ugly in general. I actually said that she's really pretty and if I personally liked her tats she'd be one of the prettiest girls in world. That I think her tats are ugly is exclusively my own problem.

LordCrash Interesting that your moral outrage and demand for respect comes right below my example of your comment calling out Demi Morgan, by name, for her "ridiculously ugly tats". Not sayting that you dodn't like tatted girls, but that hers, specifically, were ridiculously ugly.

Will65 That comment infuriated me when I saw it. But I don't have access to the delete button.

LordCrash And how is this helpful? Do you think she enjoyed reading that? Does that meet Mutiny's standard of commenting on "production approach, style, or technical flaw"? You made a personal comments about an individual model's appearance. Don't try walking it back now.

Will65 Still not the same as name calling, dude. And moral outrage? LOL. You have no idea what that actually is. 🤣
But you're right, it wasn't the nicest comment I've ever made. I never claimed that it was helpful to anybody though. It was just a statement of disappointment. And I wouldn't even notice if it was deleted... 😛

Edit: On 2nd thought, you are actually really right and this comment has no reason to be there. I deleted it myself.

Mutiny This is silly. The forums and comments have been repeatedly sold to us as a place where we give feedback about what we like and what we don't like, with the intent that the decision makers will read it and give us more of what we like and less of what we don't. To say that if we don't like something we shouldn't say so because someone else might doesn't work with that model. If, instead, the foums and comments are to be used to express praise when you like something and keep your mouth shut when you don't - that's not a source of customer feedback, that's a circle jerk. I fail to see why they'd even be useful, except to stroke someone's ego.

Will65 I honestly thought he was making a joke. I don't see how one can seriously separate "plastic" from "her body" in this context. I was attempting to "yes, and..." the joke.

If he was serious, I have no idea how to respond to that distinction.

Will65 Bottom line, I very sincerely care if you like something. I want you to get what you like.

I absolutely do not care if you don’t like something, as long as someone else does like it.

                        That's my position.

LordCrash My comment was also a statement of diappointment at the recent direction in casting choices. I don't care that it was deleted. I do care that I can't comment at all, and that someone is trying to tie it to the oh so raude nature of my 5 word comment when others are far worse.

Mutiny I do see both sides. But I do think @Will65 makes a point in that if the comment was "The high heel parade continues. Yuck." It wouldn't have been deleted.

How can you make a comment on not liking fake boobs in the comment section of a video that has a girl in it was fake boobs without it not looking like you are directly talking about that person? This is porn so talking about model choices is going to be one of the major topics.

I do think it could have been worded better to not have as much of a punch to it. But people are from different cultures and english could be a second language. Something in one country might be very offensive but not in other. America and the West is leading the way on PC policing and some people are tired of it.

Will65 maybe next time say you like more natural looking women. Although we still all know what you mean and it doesn't get your point across as much as the other.

Mutiny That's fine. SLR clearly solicits feedback from customers all the time and asks for opinions on casting, features, new products, etc. If you want feedback, fine. But don't continually solicit feedback and then get your nose out of joint when you get some that's negative.

                            rerun119
"Plastic model" is offensive in any language and culture. It's meant to be offensive and derogatory, sorry. You can't be offensive on purpose and then complain that moderation does its job...

rerun119 How can you make a comment on not liking fake boobs in the comment section of a video that has a girl in it was fake boobs without it not looking like you are directly talking about that person?

Pretty easy. Say "I'm not much into augmented boobs myself and I'd prefer if you shoot with more all natural girls in the future again." There's zero offensiveness to such a statement and it's perfectly clear what you want to say.

LordCrash I'll agree with you but

Will65 "Without the ridiculously ugly tats Demi would probably be one of the hottest women on planet earth. Well, that's how to show mother nature the finger,

"ridiculously ugly tats" is also offensive in any language and culture.

My point is that once a human becomes the PC police then their personal feeling are going to be picking and choosing on as uneven level.
