  • AV1 Is Now Live on SexLikeReal!

As I said here or in another post, the other studios must be stupid to offer videos above 50 mb/s and SLR is smarter with its magic encoding. You just have a guy at their place who compresses the image until he says: ok here it still looks good, we can still see some details of the skin. And in addition the video is at 25 mb/s bitrate for a 10 gb video file with a duration of 70 mins. The client will not see the difference. I'm not complaining about the fact that we have to pay for the master but that the video is encoded so poorly to somehow force us to buy the master. There is no middle ground !

    I bought the latest scene with Eve and Agatha, not seeing a different download option.

      OpeningThng19 we are working on AV1 PPV release and will be included with all purchases retroactively. Give it some few more weeks please

          fenderwq you are arguing and trying to present evidence to people who clearly dont care about what you care, no matter how obvious it may be, they will dodge deny and change the subject indefinitely because they already made up their mind before this was even a thing in yours lol

                I am a bit lost trying to catch-up with this thread. So I am going to just throw this out there:

                The only reason I reason that I got a lifetime sub to this site was because of the high quality/high production content of the SLR Originals that were being produced. OntheTelly-(VRfanservice) made innovative content that I felt deserved to be supported. As another subscriber already mentioned in this thread, Onthetelly was let go shortly after I paid for my lifetime membership. Then passthru became the new focus. This sucks IMO, ...I like VR that transports me to new places and experiences, I am not interested in bringing VR into my own space. At least Nash is still around and gives us an interesting BGG or BGGG scene once in a while...thank goodness.

                I just want to have the ability to download higher bitrate videos that insure I am getting high quality video reproduction. I don't need the raw footage. This is what I paid for, hopefully this will not disappear as an option.

                  rock1515 I'm also a lifetime sub, I had been not using the SLR streaming for long time ever since I tried the original high bitrate file.
                  Sadly I had lost faith for them. SLR will just ignore our request for the original file.
                  For now, I will just go for other contents.

                    Where are the AV1 downloads?

                    So if the original quality files are no longer included with the subscription, can I cancel that and just buy the scenes I want going forward? Might make more sense to just do that. This nickel and diming is pissing me off.

                    Totally feel you. Quality content is what made SLR special. Fingers crossed they keep the good stuff coming!

                        jacky68 there's incredible quality boost coming with upcoming master files streaming in the app, 16K90FPS blank magic raws and greatly upgraded deovr rendering pipeline coming with the hyper app in June.
                        We just structure things differently to match market dynamics.

                            doublevr do you have an ETA on the master files streaming? And would that also require PPV or do lifetime subscribers get that with their subscriptions automatically?
