You are basing your observation on the eyes of the people in charge of internal production who could be wrong. There is a limit where we would not see the difference in the bitrate but it is better to be slightly above it than below. Below 30 mb/s is perhaps acceptable for you but not for the eyes of some of your consumers. The only eyes capable of giving an accurate opinion are those of your customers. As I said then the other studios are idiots to offer videos above 50 mb/s and the customers are blind. Don't worry, I will not post at all anymore, I'm wasting my time.
Edit : You know, I'm a developer and an expert in my job, but I sometimes I wrong. It's hard sometimes for my ego, but I'm improving myself, and if I still believe the client is wrong, I make an effort because they're the ones paying me.
