I'm not saying this to complain, but a low bitrate creates compression artifacts and smooths the image, giving that blurry impression. You shouldn't just watch frame by frame and tune until you find the right "acceptable" setting compared to the master. You also have to take the movement of the images into consideration. I mean, in VR, you have your eyes glued to the screen and you see every imperfection. I don't think other studios are idiots who waste their storage offering high-bitrate videos. There's a reason, and it's the immersive quality of seeing details like skin and others.
You're below 30 Mbps for some of your latest videos. You're also now removing the only alternative to downloading the masters. So please increase the bitrate of your videos to at least 50 Mbps for normal downloads. You make great videos, and it's a waste to blur everything. It's like a painter who does a detailed painting and throws water over it at the end blurring all the work.
To give you an example, ARPorn offered low-bitrate videos before and a lot of people complained, so they went up to 70 mbt/s of birate and even introduced 10-bit color. Consumer feedback is taken into consideration, and it's nice to be listened to and not taken for complainers. Just because everyone doesn't say anything doesn't mean there isn't a problem.
Some people don't know or have never had the opportunity to compare. In 2008 we watched blurry 4k videos and were happy with it because we had never experienced better, but once you know it's hard to go back to 4K.
To give you an example of the last ARPorn's video specs and I can give many other examples of different studios :
