I paid for a 1 year subscription and as far as I'm concerned you are blatantly acting in bad faith and removing something from my subscription that I had every right to assume would not be removed, especially not to a ppv model.
Really lame and you are just bulldozing past this point.

A word of for-warning and legal advice for those possibly subscribing to the new drive thingy me bob - There probably won't be a terms and conditions for you to accept as this is a porn site and above the law.
But when this fails and gets shut down after a year you will lose all your money invested in this badly thoughtout idea.

Last piece of advice - You have a great product , and you are about to destroy it in a single stroke.
doublevr No one is complaining about the new stuff you create. People are even willing to pay for the new features. What people are rightly complaining about is that you downgrade an existing product without any need while telling them you're making history and flat is the future of VR porn. And then ask them to pay the price of like three (3) lifetime subscriptions to get their old product back. Once? No, not just once, every year! Don't tell people this is a fair deal.

I am, it used to be so much better with stunning porn stars, i don't even watch the new SLR scenes, i'm sorry but when it gets to the point i'm more attracted to the local bingo hooker then we have an issue - However the bigger picture is more concerning at this point - Popcorn at the ready

But I would assume that even you won't really complain about new additive features as long as they are not forced onto you. If you don't like Drive, you can just not sign up for it and still appreciate that it will help keeping the core business alive we are here for. Because there's no such thing as local bingo hookers where some of us live. Boy, am I jealous now.

PaulBlart I think AV1 streaming is activated by default when AV1 is available. In DeoVR while playing a video, the codec settings can be made on the right side, first item with the lightning symbol. When there is only h.265 then AV1 is not available.

jommy must be older scenes in queue before we started AV1 renders. current upcoming section is all AV1
AV1 master renders will be available around June. We will have some few downloads included with Premium with unlimited PPV option. Potentially we can pack it with scripts so buying a scene PPV gives you maximum for each scene.
Why June? Too many things in parallel
