Adrianvr It’s not a specific thing, just for SLR to go back to releasing varied scenes in different settings instead of the same looking video with sex on a bed and armpit sniffing, which is what we’ve been getting for the majority of 2024. If you look up at my post in this thread from yesterday you’ll see I attached images of scenes, The Secretary, Barbie: VR Porn Parody, Ghostbusters, An Intimate Experience with Xxlayna Marie, Mile High Club … etc these were just examples of how varied SLR scenes looked.

I can’t be the only one that thinks this!

Adrianvr since you are asking although I'm repeating myself: I think that AlexNash scenes are too vanilla and identical to VRSpy. Same sex acts, always, no anal (2 scenes in 3 years, do the maths, means that 99% of his scenes are identical lately). I'm personally bored of that.

On the contrary, I'm completely fine with the same structure of scenes. The scenes may not be varied, but they have a little bit of everything. Close-up mish for Close-up mish lovers, armpit sniff for armpit lovers, spit for spit lovers... etc. There's a little something for everyone.

Perhaps the scenes should be varied if the same actresses are filmed. But I have no problem with the same formula being recycled with different women. Changing that formula risks leaving out certain viewers who are interested in specific kinks.

obilisk2450 I question how long you’ve been watching SLR for. People like myself who have paid for a lifetime subscription we would expect things to stay fresh instead of the same stale scenes being churned out time and time again. We should be encouraging trying different things and not repetition. I never said to get rid of positions that people enjoy. I agree that it’s good to cater for everyone’s preferences and kinks but you can still mix up the settings and not have it be the same looking video time and time again.

This scares me. Flat porn is not the same thing as VR. This is one of the biggest problems with VR porn. The people making it just keep making flat porn with a VR camera.

WE all on here have tried for years now to tell the directors what WE want and how 2d porn doesn't work for VR.

Maybe they mean in terms of things that can transfer over to VR: Casting, locations, plot, script, positions etc

Jimmyjon66 Personally, I don't care for the plot/setting. It's not what I watch porn for. The variety comes from the actresses and that it.
But as long as the scenes stay inclusive, I have no problem with switching things up.

obilisk2450 I don’t care for plot that much either, but the whole point of VR is to be immersed and it’s not very immersive when every video just looks the same with John strong seated at the start of every video and the same stuff plays out in every scene. It’s especially annoying considering what scenes SLR used to produce .

Adrianvr right! Was specifically talking about Alex Nash scenes. Manny_S scenes have anal once in a while so I can't really complain about variation, but he is only shooting EU pornstars. I was recently watching 2000 2D porn scenes, and I remembered why I liked porn : gonzo style from Evil Angel, Jules Jordan and Redlight District, the Big Wet Asses series from Elegant Angel... these were the shit!

@wenworth summed it up. Every scene looks virtually the same from the whole of 2024. I gave you examples of previous scenes from SLR where there was variation. Perhaps it’s just Alex Nash directing, but mix it up. Use different locations/sets, premises, male talent. SLR used to do that, but now definitely not. Just look back at the variation in scenes from 2022/2023.

How about a seen where your wife wants to have a baby. A breeding scene. VRHush has done them and they get big numbers even though their camera is not nearly as good as SLR.

jommy Maybe people aren't thinking of the long-term full-picture, you can't just say "let's put 100% of funds into new VR porn" and then become successful, businesses are a lot more complicated than that! You have to think what will happen in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years down the line and plan accordingly

Has SLR not been making money? I subscribe to a few VR specific sites, but use the others less and less due to SLRs PT AI. I wish SLR the best and hope that I'm wrong, but I don't see 2D porn bringing in customers, unless the 2D is free.
