Certainly the first to capitalize on the potential of AI porn will reap great benefits. I understand there are some legal issues involved. But it is the future no doubt.

harigeharry yeah, it's definitely developing fast. But it's also easy to get fooled by seeing some generations that look impressive and then think that now now we can generate whatever we want in those 5 seconds.

Similar to how portraits and simple poses are easier to generate for image models there are things that are easier to generate and finetune with video models. It still falls apart with lots of interaction difficult poses etc. If you wanna work around that you'll need to put in a lot of effort into loras or finetuning models etc. and even then it's no guarantee. Sex is just hard for AI to generate in general. I mean it's definitely not at the point where you can just generate whatever for 5 seconds.

It will get there of course, it's just still very early stages and it will take time for open source to be able to do this better. I mean you can have fun already of course but it's no magic porn generator yet. I mean if Google had put a lot of training data in porn with Veo 2 we probably would have had something a lot closer now but alas. Corporate fucking prudes and all that.

    The training cost is rapidly decreasing. Wondering when will a porn company be willing to build a team to create their own foundation models.

          If you slip it in the contract without mentioning it ahead of time, they will walk and blacklist you.
          They know very well what AI is, and will not offer their bodies or voice to AI generation without a perpetual % share and ownership of material.

              Perhaps there exist some studios that own the copyrights of the videos recorded before AI became a thing. In theory, it should be legal to train AI on those old videos. But indeed doing so might make it harder for the studio to sign contracts with new models.

                  Yeah promptchan also has some nice stuff, you can also go to their website https://promptchan.com/ and there's tons more, to watch for free, you just need to register to watch it. The biggest limitation currently seems that the video's are usually about 6 seconds long. And longer video's are just a bunch of those shorter clips stitched together. But I'm sure that will change. For non porn there are already generators that can create (way) longer video's, so I'm sure we'll soon see those porn sites upgrade their engines too.

                      To be frank I think the idea of a AI LLM girlfriend with a face is far more powerful than just AI porn. Currently you can talk with LLMs and it's impressive how real it feels. Now add a face abd imagine if you could (or more likely it's a question of when) you can transfer that interaction over to VR/AR and have your AI LLM with voice interactions synched up to your Handy, etc. You could then talk with her and she responds and you could say: "go faster" and your handy doesn't while she replys to you "oh you like that hun". Well that's the time Pornstars and studios might be in trouble. Is it 5 years away or 20 years? I have no idea.

                        OliverDK haha yeah at some point we'll have that. But damn that's going to cost some serious computing power to do that realtime, will probably be a while before we have that at our homes.

                              OliverDK It takes incredible processing power to generate moving images to fit a specific desire. Often there are unintended visuals that appear. Mostly though, it is the processing power. To do this live? oohhh boy.
