Most of these were made by hobbyists and the quality wasn't good though. There are just not many porn companies who invest in AI porns. The only exceptions that I have seen were Japanese companies. For example, 二階堂めろ is an AI porn-star. However, they seem to be just using deepfakes to change the face of a real human actress, and the result wasn't really that impressive.

fenderwq Well who knows but personally I'm surprised myself how quickly things are moving. Stumbled upon that tool in my post above (promptchan.ai) and people are making some incredible stuff with it for example check this account on X: https://x.com/YourOasisX It's just crazy good.
Sure, still only very short clips and I'm not sure how hard it is to make longer ones. But you'd think that the switch to VR (so rendering 2 channels at different angle) seems super easy and trivial at this point. Hopefully we'll see that soon. Anyway, damn, I'm super impressed by how far things have developed and it feels we're getting close now to a future of porn without human actors, just AI. It's just better.
Certainly the first to capitalize on the potential of AI porn will reap great benefits. I understand there are some legal issues involved. But it is the future no doubt.
harigeharry yeah, it's definitely developing fast. But it's also easy to get fooled by seeing some generations that look impressive and then think that now now we can generate whatever we want in those 5 seconds.
Similar to how portraits and simple poses are easier to generate for image models there are things that are easier to generate and finetune with video models. It still falls apart with lots of interaction difficult poses etc. If you wanna work around that you'll need to put in a lot of effort into loras or finetuning models etc. and even then it's no guarantee. Sex is just hard for AI to generate in general. I mean it's definitely not at the point where you can just generate whatever for 5 seconds.
It will get there of course, it's just still very early stages and it will take time for open source to be able to do this better. I mean you can have fun already of course but it's no magic porn generator yet. I mean if Google had put a lot of training data in porn with Veo 2 we probably would have had something a lot closer now but alas. Corporate fucking prudes and all that.

The training cost is rapidly decreasing. Wondering when will a porn company be willing to build a team to create their own foundation models.
Every model I have spoken to when signing a contract the first thing they ask is "are you using AI?".
I feel it's a money thing.

These girls hustle for a living and read the contracts line by line in front of you.
If you slip it in the contract without mentioning it ahead of time, they will walk and blacklist you.
They know very well what AI is, and will not offer their bodies or voice to AI generation without a perpetual % share and ownership of material.
Perhaps there exist some studios that own the copyrights of the videos recorded before AI became a thing. In theory, it should be legal to train AI on those old videos. But indeed doing so might make it harder for the studio to sign contracts with new models.
