pewpewpewx I was curious and got my Q2 out of storage. Didn't notice any streaming issues, neither with trailers nor signed in with full videos. Only problem I had was being constantly interrupted by an overheating warning.

I don't know whether these data are accurate or to what extent they apply to SLR, but I think they give an indication why the Q1 user base is not priority one.

Hi, thanks for your suggestion. I tried to use the WebXR hub through the meta browser but it appears to be missing some pretty fundamental features, such as a search bar or categories section. Additionally, certain content appears to be inaccessible (i.e. trans or gay content).

I accept that I am in a minority as a Quest 1 user and thus I'm probably a low priority, but do you have any notion of whether service will at all be restored to Quest 1 users? If there are no plans for future Quest 1 support I, reluctantly, will have to consider ending my subscription as I cannot justify forking out several hundred dollars on a new VR headset at the moment.

I am not quite sure why this isn't SLR's fault.

Video's which worked, on the same quest with the same DeoVR version, a couple of days ago won't work any longer. So something has to have changed on SLR's side which made it stop working?

Your backend changes appear to be intentionally destroying the User Experience for those on Quest 1 and lower. Why break something that was working fine on the older DeoVR version up until a week ago?

Backend Engineer to Backend Engineer: Surely there's a way to examine HTTP Request headers to see the client side is on an older version of DeoVR, and redirect the client to an alternative-format video that the older DeoVR that's loaded on the Quest1 and lower can use.

Forcing end-users to abandon their equipment and upgrade is a non-starter. I was using a Quest 1 specifically because this is the last and final valuable usage I have for keeping this headset around.

Please fix this.

Same problems. I'm sure that format is not changed - because I can download clip to Q1 and it play good. Seems like slr site made changes somewhere in streaming functions or in other parts, and now blob data from them cant be correctly recognised in old versions of deovr application.
As I see SLR still need for better QA, but prefer to look for more managers ))

We just want you to revert whatever changes you made in the last 2 days. Everything was COMPLETELY FINE LIKE 2 DAYS AGO. Stop suggesting that we pay a ton of money to buy another device or use your laggy web version. Stop making fools of your users. We know that this problem is caused by a change you made because we can watch the previews without any problems. We also know that you can fix it if you want. Just tell your developers or DeoVR's developers or whoever did this to revert the app to the way it was 3 days ago and that will be the solution. I don't think we are asking for anything impossible. @Kieshi @iddqd Kieshi

fakarim By the way, I don't mean the app update by "changes". None of us started experiencing this issue after updating the app. We are already using the latest DeoVR version that our devices support. It is a completely server-side issue and it is up to you to solve it. I repeat: We want you to revert any changes you have made in the past 2-3 days that may affect videos and that concern SLR or DeoVR app.

fakarim as you mentioned you are using Cardboard, which we do not support since 2021 https://www.sexlikereal.com/blog/319-google-cardboard-vr-no-longer-supported-by-sexlikereal , we cannot guarantee that app will function appropriately on unsupported device.

Streaming videos on deovr.com site which is using same stream mechanic working fine without any issues. But paid content here is not accessible because of this error. Please fix it

Mskinner32 does this affect all content or are there sone videos that work and sone that do not?
If it is the latter - please share video names/ids of the videos, so we can investigate further

Bulkin could you please let me know on which headset does this appear and what is the DeoVR version you have installed? Also, please let me know about the videos question I mentioned above

I use Q1 with deovr 13.12.4. But as mentioned here - preview is working fine and paid content also can be viewed some days ago. Now only preview is worked. Then videos from deovr.com and from files fully viewable.
As a developer and QA I pretty know that all changes can be implemented in different ways. I don't know the root cause for such decision if it was, but it seems like your developers simply chose the easiest way again, which led to a broken Quest1 compatibility.

With such approach there is no guarantees that after couple of months users of Quest2 and other vr devices, will not find themselves in the same situation.

Kieshi Every video I have tried on DeoVR while logged in has failed to load. I tired watching on HeresSphere, but most functions of the website are broken. I cannot open favorites or watch later, passthrough does not work, there are no timestamps on the videos. Meta Browser is even worse as there is no way to change the video tilt.

Same problem for me. It didn't seem like it was all videos at once, like they're we're being updated on batches or something. Now none work. Android Daydream user, hoping this isn't the end. I'm not updating my hardware, I'll just have to cancel the subscription.

Some clarification on whether or not this is going to be fixed or if Quest 1 users, and some others, are now forever unable to watch videos via DeoVR would be greatly appreciated.
