rustynailinabucket9 You think I'm lying? You can look up the votes yourself if you don't believe. Go ahead and post here what you find. Don't pretend like virtually all Democrats didn't vote for it as well. And as far as hurting their reputation as an excuse to vote in favor of it, that's a level of cowardice that would prove they shouldn't hold office to begin with. That's the person you want to vote for? The pushover who doesn't stand up for what he/she believes in? Who flip flops based on the slightest bit of criticism from those who would never vote for you anyway? Sounds like a shitty politician to me.
Those with money targeted red states because it was easiest to start there. It would still need voter support for what is asking to ban children from porn to pass through legislation. That doesn't change who's paid for the lobbying behind it and stir up the issue.
Further, you need a reality check and an English class because it's not a ban. It's a privacy issue. It financially costs nothing to comply and it costs PH practically nothing to comply as well. It doesn't. They are banning the states that agree to it based on their belief it's a privacy and security issue, which I agree with, but that doesn't change the fact that these states haven't banned porn. You know who has tried to ban porn? The card companies.
Like I said, the Right doesn't control any of the card companies yet the same shit is happening outside legislation, so explain it. Explain it. You can't explain it without admitting this is a bipartisan issue, not one cut down the aisle, or the Isle of modesty or whatever you said because you used words that you don't know.
