      The AI AR videos are pretty good, still needs sum tweaking but over all I found a few I enjoyed, but at the moment the alpha ar videos just look way better in pass through, so...keep on filming alpha AR videos? YES!

        I would be really surprised if it would take less than 5 years to get up to the original level. So coming years I don't think AI will be a true alternative.

        There are too many scenes where the male model's arms would move all over the screen to touch the body. Wouldn't that interfere with the AI passthrough? They would have silhouettes of just random arms, hands, and fingers throughout the video.

        Just do a mix.
        Those that love PT can get both "high quality" greenroom/grayman plus the AI PT versions.
        Those who pass on PT get less "she looks hot...dammmit! PT only" frustration.
        Those who love both... well, minimal change for them I guess.

        Plus continuing with both forms of PT will allow for more direct-comparison feedback.

            doublevr Yes I found out and it's a great leap in the right direction and make some AI AR scenes watchable - no active hands movement. So thumbs up for that 👍.

              I bought a subacription to use passthrough with my phone. If AI Passthrough cant work on phone, then no....

                It’s going to take a lot more improvement for me to say no. For me, they’re unwatchable compared to the SLR original pass through scenes, which have been reeeeally clean. The AI is way too inconsistent to maintain real immersion. Constantly stuff clipping in and out of view and the silhouette around the girls is just a disaster. Honestly it’s just a testament to how good the scenes shot specifically for pass through are. I’m sure the AI can get there in the not super distant future, but it ain’t there yet.

                I want to know how to watch Passthrough Offline. Naming it with alpha doesn't work BESIDES it has ALPHA in the Download name!

                  AI passthrough is still not up to par with AR. There is a lot of inconsistency in scaling and distancing. Also the picture is not always crisp like AR PT. Many objects in the model's world still show up in my world. Or the headset is trying to hide them but it just looks messy.

                  To doublevr's questions, I would say yes we should keep filming the way it currently is.

                  I think it comes down to 2 mains issues.

                  1. Quality
                  2. Offline implementation of PT AI

                  First, like the majority here have stated, the quality is currently not up to par and I feel, should not be switched just because it it's getting "better" but rather should be considered once it is the "best" option.

                  Second, the next most common complaint I have seen on here is offline implementation of PT AI in a way it is currently working for PT content downloaded offline. I am a trucker and download all of my videos including PT to use when on the road for weeks at a time. I do not have a stable connection most of the time so almost all my PT is used offline except when I am at home.

                  Unless PT AI is enabled offline through DEO client side, I'm sure many would appreciate the option to still have PT filmed videos for their offline usage.

                  If and when PT AI is able to be implemented to a degree that is equal to or better than it is currently manually filmed AND able to be implemented client side for offline content as well then I think the switch would be almost universally accepted.
