Agree with the above but also wanna add that it's important to point out that passthrough scenes aren't just about a good alpha mask. There are other things to consider too. Like not constantly having hands on a girls body, not fucking back all the time (floating air dick syndrome) and alignment that you can actually put your body in for instance. Also, I think there is still quite some potential to play into the whole story element more with passthrough. Like, the scenario is that you're at home right? Let's play into that with some cool stories.
Writing off regular passthrough now seems to be jumping the gun by quite a lot. It will probably be possible in the future but it will still take quite a bit to get to something that is equally good or even better. Still, really cool to see the AI passthrough. It's already a lot of fun. Would be super cool once the masks are more refined and can deal well with things like hair and also to have the option to cut out the male body in POV but not the dick (like in the green suit thing) is super important.
