doublevr Is PT the dotted line? Because if PT is the solid line then it looks like PT grew slightly less than regular watch time over that period

Looking back at the last few months, around 50% of SLR Originals content has been PT. I would assume that some of the growth in PT viewing could be attributed to that high proportion of PT scenes (more PT content = more PT watch time). If that's true then it would suggest that a decrease in the proportion of PT scenes should lead to a decrease in PT growth.

I think it would be interesting to see what happens to PT growth once the backlog of Simsense PT scenes are exhausted. If it continues growing then it really is as popular as it appears to be.

phyuggene new upgraded PT series are coming in April. No worries.

Also the number of PT content is greatly disproportional towards total content. So current PT numbers are rather huge.

        That trend is awesome!

I'm looking forward to the new PT 2.0 in April 🥰 .

Will be interesting to see user feedback implemented and what another studio can do with it etc.

As well as new models from Europe etc 😊 .

doublevr Do you have the percentage of PT users per devices supporting PT? Does the 'not PT users' percentage also contain subscribers who are completely inactive?

Looking at the recent SLRO scenes, Training Day has significantly more views than the Agatha or Briana VR scenes around it. How does this fit into 2/3 not using PT?

How do you figure that? Training Day and the Briana scenes both have 2.7K views while the Agatha scene has 3.2K views and was released later.

I still check out new PT scenes even though I don't use PT. Thats because so many fresh faces are solely PT. Not to mention half of the recent SLRO are PT. I can't imagine that I am alone in that. Don't rush to judgement about what those numbers mean.

On the other hand...if the PT users only represent 1/3 of the base, why are 1/2 of the newest SLRO releases PT? Shouldn't PT scenes be 1/3 to match the user distribution?

Not if it's a growing trend. Then it makes sense to focus on it to capitalize on a expected growing audience. One could of course argue AR porn is a phase and the novelty will wear off. I can't say of course but I do remember similar words was spoken about VR porn about 10 years ago and look were we are today.

There's a big assumption there. There's no guarantee that it will continue to grow. The slope illustrated coincides pretty closely with the release and adoption of the Quest 3. Given that continued sales of Quest 3 have not come close to projected numbers, the "I just got a Q3, let's try PT" cohort is likely going to shrink. With reduced new users, will PT retention/reuse be able to sustain the missed growth and keep the upward momentum?

Okokok, cherry-picking, fine. The main idea of SLRO focusing heavily on PT to serve a growing trend may make sense as a business gamble--and we all know doublevr is ALL-IN on PT, but does it makes business sense to alienate a significant user base like non-PT users? We can argue degree until we're blue in the face, but the disappointment is real.

I have no idea if AR porn will continue to increase in growth or it will fade out but I'm actually personal quite surprised 1/3 of users are AR users. That's higher than I expected given the number of headsets capable of AR and the still limited numbers of scenes.

fuccaneer Similarly, I'd also be interested in knowing what percentage of PT users also use VR but prefer PT or even how many users EXCLUSIVELY use PT.

trooowiii no the handy is great whit passthrough. Makes it even more immersive if you have a good setup
