Hairsational I get what your saying but in 3 let alone 5 year A LOT can happen in an upcoming field like VR/AR. I'm not saying that everything I talked about will happen, those where just some thing on the top of my mind, what I am saying though is that I'm sure it will improve very significantly in only a year time. Of that I'm pretty much sure, I mean relatively simple changes like discussed in this thread could already make passthrough a lot better in the very near future let alone if the tech improves too.

But look about 2 years further back than that at the Oculus GO. Or a couple of years even further back at Google Cardboard. Now the difference is enormous.
And I would argue that the difference in AR capabilities between the Quest 2 and Quest 3 in the span of 3 years is pretty significant.

I get that, but I also agree with the previous commenter who spoke of limiting factors for these possibilities being realized. Even when speaking of how current tech has changed in the last 8-10 years, not much has really changed except for resolution and processing power. The tech you'd need to make AR what people seem to think it is going to be is much further away than most users seem to realize.
Vrsumo2017 I don't agree with you very often, but this is exactly what is needed to make PT really work in its current iteration - though I would have about 1/2 the video be seated positions. I know you don't use it that way, but I think its likely an even split between people who use it seated and people who use it laying down.

By default it's mapped as holding both triggers, I changed it to A
Double triggers got annoying.
Dome rotation, you can move the image up down, left or right
like skyboxvr, if you ever used it before
