  • AR masks for VR videos - Yay or Nay?

Generally no, but might be cool for like cosplay/parody stuff if it fits the theme and isn't static but animated 3D models in AR.

doublevr Do we have a definitive opinion laying AR masks for performers? Should we proceed with it?

I dont agree

I wouldn’t want silly ones like animal faces but I think it’d be awesome if we could toggle on realistic ones that enhance someone’s looks. We could have ones that hide wrinkles, smooth out the skin or even change hair/eye colour.

dango789 We could have ones that hide wrinkles, smooth out the skin

Just say it bro. Make em look younger? lol

I say yes only cuz I've seen sum pornstars use the tiktok filters while having sex, example one pornstar used that twirling tongue filter while she was getting fucked I thought it was kinda hot, I saw one use the aging filter while she showing of her tits, it just made her look 18 and up of course. You know "Younger" , I've seen sum use them dog and Disney faces, they all looked ok, my favorite was the twirling tongue 👅 😜

I would replicated that in a vr video with a pornstar actually have her tongue out and twirl it crazy. We don't get enough tongue action in vr from a far. We get upclose tongue action but not enough from a far.

Like literally, while having sex I can be in a far away mish and I'll say show me that tounge, flick it for me, turn your head side so I can see it 👅
Or blowing kisses at each other, so it's like blow kiss, flick tongue repeat 😜 😏

Stick the tongue out and pretend your tongue fucking a booty 👅👌 , shit like that should be in vr porn.

There's so much missing in vrp we can discuss this topic for hours. Don't get me started lol 🤦‍♂️

But I'd be down for the AR filters. Toogle on or off of course.
On capcut you can add filter to faces in the vr videos.

    See here's a Disney filter

Yall know what I was thinking, might be cool we had a scene male model use his phone to film pov and use the ar filters from snapchat or tiktok. 🤔

Seems kind of silly to me personally. I don’t like when girls use filters on IG. Don’t think I would ever use them in VR.

I’d rather see the staff allocate their time towards something else. Just my opinion

No, seems useless to me. Maybe in the future when you can actually do some major things like change a person but now I don't see the point.

      fenderwq Maybe

True, but if it gonna happen it's gotta start somewheres, and if slr doesn't do some other vr studio could, im just assuming...besides this would just be an option for the viewer to use if they wanted to.

KingJamaica Changing model eye color would be perfect.

Also changing male skin color would be great.

Well shit, look at that, on capcut you can do that

        Before

        After

        I went kinda goth.
But if you could do that on the fly in deo would be pretty cool, I played the video and the make up stayed on pretty good. Notice the freckles?

See you can add different filters to there face

Would be cool to do that on the fly while watching a video.

I would like to change hair color and makeup if I could with a tongue twirl 👅

        The potential is huge.
I hope they will create realistic tool, it will be game changer.

There's one that makes the person look hotter, realistically. Not cartoonish.
It's not a before and after picture for makeup, everything else in the picture, every single hair strand, is identical. If you look past the compression artifacts.

IDK. The way things are going, future generations won’t know what it’s like to see an image that hasn’t been manipulated in one way or another! 😂

It’s already getting difficult. People’s image of what a regular person looks like is already skewed. Things like lip injections and getting botoxed to within an inch your life are being normalized thanks to the “Real Housewives of who gives a fuck”.

IDK. Maybe I’m just getting older. But I find all this kind of sad. What ever happened to the beauty is in the imperfections?

Isn’t it enough we all get to have virtual sex with some 21 year old hottie? Do you really want to apply some AR filter to remove “faults” that aren’t really there?

I honestly don’t see the appeal. To me, it’s seems like a novelty at best. Something that you might play around with for a day or two. Then never use again. And you’re going to devote how many man hours developing it?

It sounds like you guys are already leaning towards doing it anyways. I doubt I’ll ever use it. As long as you can leave it off, knock yourselves out.
