Plbrock1s I think you are highlighting the key deviation from SLR and tube sites. Never in my life have I ever considered the script/scene in porn. I am generally just fixing an itch for a specific type of content and anything getting in the way of that is just noise/fodder. Short of like Xev who is probably the best at convincing that you are the one she is talking to. Here people want the full experience good acting, storyline, producing, directing, and more. It's the total package vs the quick fix.
How do we make SLR cool?
Trust me, that's completely fair and how most people watch porn.
For the most part me as well. I've never sat and watched an entire scene end to end. I doubt anyone has. These things are way too long to be sitting in a headset with imo. I typically start it, get sort of an idea of what the scenario is, then skip to what i want to see.
It also highlights why it's a risk to put much effort into production if you know ultimately it doesn't matter much that people are just going to skip around.
Maybe it's sort of a pipe dream or it's just that one day VR will be so profitable that studios can do what they want.
I will say though, I credit SLRs ease of streaming so that i can just sort scenes by 'new' and check into each one briefly and see if it's worth keeping on because I will check out pretty much any B/G that's posted.

Virtual taboo
Darkroomvr
Czeckvr and fetish
Badoinkvr
VrCosplayx
Virtualporn
Vrbangers
Vrconk
18vr
Kinkvr
Wetvr
Naughty America vr
Get them studios slr will be ultimately the king of vr, the Netflix of vr, your one stop shop for vr!
You can do it!
If you cant get them sites, how bout just their trailers? And still slr is ultimately the one stop shop for vr.
And that would be cool
Vrsumo2017 we don't need that shit
Vrbangers were ON and OFF a few times and it never had an impact on how many users we get or how we sell. Only the distribution of money within the platform
doublevr Humm
Any plans on getting some of those other studios?

@doublevr Has SLR ever considered an ad based business model (like tiktok or any tube site)?
The ROI on ads seems to be very high (even for VR video) and viewership/revenue skyrockets with it because the content is easily accessible to more people.
How do we make SLR cool?
You were already cool! Just get back to what you were doing a few years back - making awesome 1 on 1 and multi girl scenes that were innovative and technically great!
Personally, I'm not into passthrough, JAV style scenes, harem scenes, BTS stuff, or weird overlong armpit fetish segments, I just want well shot and directed scenes, decent ongoing narratives, with hot chicks having hot hard sex! It's as simple as that for me.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with experimenting now and again, but you seem to have your fingers in too many pies atm, so there's less of what made you great in the first place.
Vrsumo2017 we know all of them. I would not expect any of those joining SLR any time soon. The only reason you see some of them on VRPorn is to piss SLR LOL.
They all started the same time when SLR did, yet they got stuck producing videos and looking for quick buck ads. While we are moving everything forward.
But really, there won't be major impact if we would have all the content. We have to innovate even more to make things cool. The biggest innovation now is packing things right for users
MickyCheese not really. tube userbase is huge and those aren't looking to pay anything.
SLR userbase is small and these are paying a lot. There can't be ads model for VR until it gets mainstream with millions of daily users. Altogether SLR is around 100k.
tallbloke35 Passthrough and haptics are the most trending parts of SLR. All the future headsets are coming with greatly improved passthrough.
The same like tubes and TikTok have all sorts of content we are looking to get everything what's out there. It's a job for data team to generate the most engaging feed for each user so you only see cool stuff. We are revamping suggested feed in coming month.
Vrsumo2017
I would like to see those too. I've also subscribed to vrpron and povr just to get some of the content of the studios you mentioned. It would be great if we could combine them with SLR scripts.
SLR is for the biggest part a content provider, so it would make sense to provide as much original content as possible.
I would like to get rid of compilation videos as they pollute the search results. Just take a look at Blake Blossom's profile and try to pick original content. Maybe provide a filter where we can blocklist these studios like Manny_S, Private Jet, Cumpilations. Maybe provide an additional option: 'Unless they have a script associated'. These studios don't add to SLR, they just pollute.
doublevr if you really want something ground breaking and different, might as well just go all in on that deepfake/voice AI because yeah, that would intrigue a shitload of people. Either that or partner with some famous ethot that people would lose their minds over like a Belle Delphine or Jordyn Jones

I don't think content is the problem, it's awareness of how immersive VR porn is.
And don't focus on short form content (only short-form marketing) - short-form content is a 2d thing which can be viewed purely for casual entertainment, but VR content has to be worth the effort of wearing the headset (and setting up Handy etc). VR is like Imax, it's an event - while it can be fun it is NOT casual. Not until the tech makes it so with super light and comfortable AR glasses that you wear all day.
If you want to grow your audience, it's an awareness problem to solve. Make it cool and fun with short-form tiktoks, sponsorship and porn ambassadors etc (like Redbull or whatever) - this is a massive task as you're basically de-stigmatizing not only porn but VR porn so it's going to take time and ingenuity. Let's face it, Meta with all their resources, STILL struggles to convert gamers because VR has to be experienced in person. It's not like you can really have an SLR tour bus visiting malls across the globe to show people what VR porn looks like.
So 1) how do you make the idea of VR porn fun and socially acceptable, and 2) how the fuck do you get people to try it? How?!
Have you approached Joe Rogan to be featured on his show? He's already talked about VR porn so a logical place to start. You really need a spokesperson who can engage with that kind of celebrity and promote the concept. You need a Musk / Zuck / Jobs to go out there and spread the word with charm and eloquence.

Make the SLR video app Cardboard / Samsung compatible and promote it for running different language tracks. Lots of poorer folks still use DeoVR for watching films but have no native video app for multiple language tracks. Many folks from the Samsung / Android ecosystem abandoned VR for that reason. Promote that SLR app supports multilingual audio and captioning for foreigners.

Vrsumo2017 Wetvr
That's a great idea. WetVR is under terrible management. It's the odd man out from within the studio that owns it. Propose a temporary collaboration where SLR hosts their films. Also, for anyone thinking of subbing to them, do yourself a favor and don't. Unlike SLR, they aren't reliable or secure. The trial option they have is a total scam (I actually requested and received a refund from Epoch, which should indicate how untrustworthy and deceptive their practices are.)
Another idea for you: when the mainstream media reports on the Quest 3, make it your mission that as many as possible refer to the headset as the "ultimate porn device" or a "sex holodeck" etc. Make this part of the conversation. The Q3 to most of the world is just another boring gadget and they have nothing really to say about it, but give them a salacious angle and they will lap it up. You could have psychologists give sound bites on this. Remember when when Apple talked about the "retina display" being some kind of benchmark, well you could do the same thing with the Quest 3 and specifically your new camera rig and your passthrough technology. You want the women on The View to say "so apparently the 10k cameras they use now are so detailed and the display in this thing is so advanced, it's like really having sex, you can see the guy or girl in the room with you - so what does that mean for our future" - that kind of shit. Hop on the back of the Q3 marketing machine and get people talking about the exciting technology of AR/VR porn. Then when the Apple headset comes, do it again.
Define what makes content "like real sex", back this up with science and psychology, and take ownership of humanity's exploration into virtual sex.
Oh, and make a documentary for Netflix called Sex Like Real.
sheldoncooper I think going for a big change is very risky. Look at Dezyred, I don't think that concept is doing very well tbh.
I would focus on 6DOF and immersion in general. One of the unique features of VR is that you can look around 360 degrees and move with controllers.
There are almost no scenes that make use of 360 let alone 180. Most of the action is still in front of you with limited flexibility to move. I would recommend to focus on 6 DOF and useage of the full 360 or 180.

100k users? Are you guys profitable?
Profit options
- Fan involvement funding. Prestige studio has a series where each new model auditions through visiting three fans for her first three scenes.
- Custom videos. The economy is about to tank big-time, on purpose. Offer custom video options for wealthy fans.
- Marketing. Why don't you partner with popular models from OnlyFans. They get to borrow a camera and hard drive and do profit sharing. Some models are suitably creative for your needs, like https://www.freyafields.com/about, https://onlyfans.com/loverlaci (1 million+ likes!), https://onlyfans.com/bendypiri (famous UK Singer, now doing HC), https://onlyfans.com/lunasilverx (former Miss Universe contest, & won major Irish scholarship before moving to Amsterdam to shoot porn)
