justsomedude101 Are you guys back to the 8K camera? I thought you were going to put out 1 video with it so everybody could take a look at it before going all in again.

22 days later

Nope, the film crew fucked it up, angles are shit. Please rebook and have someone competent shoot her scenes. Huge L.

muSLR This is disappointing to read. It's going to be a longggggg time before SLR now has anybody close to shooting good scenes other than Nash.
I'm giving up hope that SLR will ever be able to go back to 2 years ago (now going on 3 years) when almost every scene was good. They claim to have the best site in VR. If that is true, then you would thing that they could make good scenes. They don't even seem to care who is directing the scenes. As long as they can make 3 a week. That is not the best just because you make a lot.
I'm sorry but if Nash quits or gets fired then what is left? Nothing. It's sad that this isn't top priority.

rerun119 Hey I give credit where credit's due, SLR is goat'ed for their casting, top notch user interaction, and let's be real now when SLRO DOES release a good scene, it's a 12/10 and I genuinely think that the best of the best scenes out currently are shot by SLRO.

That being said however, they make some hugely disappointing choices as well. Sorry for being blunt, but there is no better way to put it. For someone as celebrated as Riley Star's return, choosing to have SimsenseMedia for the shoot is just unwise. This is the same production company that fked up the shoot with Bailey Brooke's return, as well as both appearances with Luna Fae. Let's be honest now you can't deny that even one of their most successful scenes with Macy Meadows could have been better if it was shot by Nash.

But then again, I give credit where credit's due, SimsenseMedia's VR passthrough work is, unquestionably, best of the best out on the market. Sadly this definitely does not translate to the rest of their scenes.

So the decision of letting these guys take on highly anticipated casts one after another is just puzzling to me. Sorry for being harsh but when I see SimsenseMedia in a non-VRpassthrough scene I'm already mentally preparing for disappointment.

Let's hope they can get Riley back for more.. Also there are some seriously great confirmed castings coming up as well, fingers crossed that they are going to be shot better, but at this point these all seems to be wild cards.

muSLR I will say I just looked at the scene real quick. I'll wait for the script to watch it. What I did see didn't look bad to me. It looks like a scene I will like. The only time I saw the camera off center was at the end but it didn't look that bad.

I should have looked at it before I wrote something about the scene.

All I want is good scenes with scripts. I'll buy a different SLR subscription if it had 2 really good scenes a week with scripts. Nothing else. I don't need the other studios, no passthrough,

rerun119 Same - I'm not sure what @muSLR is on about. I'm pretty damn critical of SLR, but I think they got this one right. I was even tempted to compose a comment about what was right in the scene, since they have protested that we should do that more than complain.

Pretty much the only thing I had an issue with was that it was a bit too red for me - I had to get the red saturation down to like .70 in Heresphere to get her skin tone to be natural, but that was a minor quibble. It seems common when they shoot pale models, like they feel they need to somehow add skin tone or something. Have you considered that some of us LIKE pale models? lol

          Definitely needs a script, ASAP.

            Will65 -

This means alot more especially coming from your standards @Will65 ! 🙂

Agreed and your wish granted 🙂 = https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/rekindled-desire-35266?tab=haptic

Seemed quite blurry and over-sharpened from the streaming version but I've downloaded so will review. In terms of angles, a mixed bag - it bugs the shit out of me when a director changes camera-cock distance like they do here, as they nail the placement and then decide to move the camera 6-12 inches further back - why! Don't just eyeball that shit, use some kind of workflow which ensures consistency.

From what I recall, there was a BJ angle and lay-back CG that were perfect, just a really nice fucking view, so it'll be a case of skipping the parts that don't work for me I think and appreciating the stuff which they got right. Often the case with SLRO scenes these days.

muSLR Just to put some perspective to it: this isn't really how casting/shoots work for us. Might be different for other studios/sites, but we (basically) have a team that shoots in FL, a team that shoots in LA, and a team the travels between LA and Vegas.

With virtually any casting that is booked and shot, it's not a matter of "why did X team shoot it instead of Y or Z team?" - it's a matter of "if X team doesn't shoot it, we may not have another chance for months" based on booking schedules, performer's travel schedules and availability dates, our own teams' travel schedules, etc.

And as always - a scene by any one director/team does not preclude the performer being shot again by another team.

justsomedude101 In that case I do apologize for making the assumption, I understand that the availability of resources does dictate the "who shoots what" problem. Perhaps it is a good idea for the teams to synchronize their knowledge & production methods to create a more consistent final product? Just trying to be constructive here, sorry if I come off too critical. I do hold SLR at a way higher standard comparing to other studios because I have seen the quality of content that you guys are capable of producing.

vrpicasso The scene does not look blurry/over-sharpened to me, must be just streamed versions with lower quality. . . My issue is with camera placement and angles, as you said, they are extremely inconsistent, having to constantly adjust my sitting position/zoom/camera position and even then some times the angle still doesn't work. Meh, maybe I'm being too critical, but MAN I was really hoping for perfection for this scene like the HazelTreat one with Hazel Moore.. My GOD that scene was a 12/10 for me.
