justsomedude101 We have no plans whatsoever to stop producing Passthrough content as there is a large number of folks who do happen to enjoy it, so any feedback/suggestions you have on making Passthrough content more palatable (for example with the CGI background) would be appreciated.
We ask you to sepearte AR and VR and no to stop producing it. Why do you guys just keep ignoring what we actaully say and make up stuff like that? Nowhere in his post did he ask you to stop making AR content in general.
And you really wonder why people get angry and frustrated with this place while you constantly act in a way that you either twist other people's take so much that they fit into your agenda or that you even lecture your users on what content was good for them and that everyone would agree how great your stuff was if they only tried or whatever...
justsomedude101 it, so any feedback/suggestions you have on making Passthrough content more palatable (for example with the CGI background) would be appreciated.
I gave my feedback already and nobody cared. I asked about the grey suits and just stated the obvious, that it doesn't work in VR at all with only th background in CG. Nobody answered (probably because nobody at SLR has a fucking clue themselves and just don't want to admit it). Nobody cared. I stated another obvious flaw that position variety is EXTREMELY limited in AR scenes. Nobody cared. Feels like what you actually want to hear is that CG was great and made the AR stuff so amazing for people (only) interested in VR. Well, no. It doesn't. It makes unwatchable scenes somewhat watchable but it doesn't make them good or even great VR scenes. In a world in which there is great VR stuff on other sites on a constant basis I don't have time for watching bad VR porn that was kind of generated out of AR porn. Mid stuff is bad stuff.
TakingFredoFishing Further, nowhere in my comment did I say to stop producing PT scenes. The suggestion was to seperate them into another studio or subscription. Pehaps make the PT subscription cheap since it requires so much less investment. If PT is so popular, then people will pay to access it, right? They aren't getting it anywhere else, so they have to come here.
Sorry if I misunderstood, that's my fault. We briefly had the PT releases separated as their own studio, but they performed substantially better when we they weren't separated (I don't have the data to show why, but my guess is that most users simply missed them under the separate name), so we stopped that plan. Currently we don't have any further plans to separate them or put them behind any sort of additional paywall or subscription. We consider them to be additional content on the platform just like everything else available with a Premium subscription.
TakingFredoFishing Why force it on us, especially when it is really different on every level from what we signed up for?
To be blunt - it's additional content users can choose to watch or not to watch, just like the other hundreds of studios and tens of thousands of scenes. SexLikeReal started back around 2015 as a site that strictly hosted 3rd party content, then SLRO's were introduced and occasionally released, then released more consistently once a week, then 2x per week, then 3x per week, and now roughly 3x per week with a PT release 1x per week. My point being that an SLR subscription is a constantly evolving thing, and that we don't see that extra 1 Passthrough scene as anything other than even more content included with a subscription.

100% my mistake for misunderstanding what was said. As for the rest - I won't waste either of our time by responding.

If you provided some feedback, then thanks. The scene angles is something that's already been and is being discussed. The use of suits has been something discussed quit a bit as well, and I believe the plan is to continue using it. We can't really respond to every comment/piece of feedback, and I hope you nor anyone else is upset if changes aren't always made based on their feedback.
Can I take your silence to mean that we won't be seeing Anya in a non-PT scene anytime soon then?
Hairsational It means that they only booked her for an AR scene and that nobody knows whether she'll be booked again for an actual VR scene.
Hairsational What's this casting pool?
Hairsational Can I take your silence to mean that we won't be seeing Anya in a non-PT scene anytime soon then?
"Casting Pool" means she's on our list of performers we're looking to book/shoot. But currently yes - it's just the Passthrough scene that we've shot with her, we haven't shot her for a standard VR scene as of right now.

justsomedude101 Thank you (again) for the detailed reply. I appreciate the time it took to communicate all of that.

I think this is the part that a lot of the complaints center around. The way you frame it here, PT is just another additional vid to add to the cool content. BUT: what we have experienced is that most of the hot, cool, requested models get PT scenes (that we really dislike and won't watch), while the other SLRO releases are often models who aren't that in demand. Additionally, Simsense media does a really good job of filming non-PT scenes. I'd say they are nearly equivalent to Nash (who sems to be involved with VRSpy more than SLRO these days) and lightyears better than Alex Mack (who shoots in a very old-school porn-y style with models who are often MILF-y or enhanced, which means I dislike his technical aptitude, his creative vision, and his choice of models). What thet means in practice is that it often feels that PT - which is a smaller fanbase to begin with and which automatically excludes subscribers without PT hardware - gets the best available director and crew, and the most requested/new/hot models, while the VR crowd (who has been supporting you much longer) gets B quality models shot in NAVR style by Mack, with an occasional reprieve from Nash. I'm fairly certain that this is what is annoying many of us - SLR argues that it's just another thing, but we experience it as actively making the sub WORSE for people who don't like it or can't use it. Hence why I keep seeing the request that you shoot a normal VR scene with said models in addition to the PT one - that would seem fair. But when one bunch of trick-or-treaters gets all the candy and another seems to get toothpaste or apples most of the time...
Can you appreciate the point I am making here?
As for all the other studios, I don't pay much attention to them. I subbed here for SLRO when they were GREAT. That (and scripts) was the selling point for me. When I am looged in, my filters say there sre like 4k videos available, the vast majority of which are SLRO, DeepInSex, and VREdging.
justsomedude101 an SLR subscription is a constantly evolving thing
This can be upsetting to people who subscribe for longer terms. Too much change too fast (while neglecting or phasing out existing stuff) can lead to the content at the end of the subscription period not looking/feeling anything like what the user paid for at the beginning of it. I'm not knocking change, but maybe respect that some of us paid you because we liked what you were doing already, and to encourage more of it - not for you to take our dollars and go do something completely different.

There is only 3 of you who are upset lol.
Also whilst I am here may I mention that I am so looking forward to Anya Olsen if indeed it is passthrough Great job guys
theHobbit There is only 3 of you who are upset lol.
Weak bait

Hairsational it's true - look at all the essays you have written hahahahaha - really thought about the shit and pluralising words to make it sound like some massive group of users are dissatisfied with SLR when in fact it's just 3 of you.

Classic own goal
theHobbit when in fact it's just 3 of you
That's not a fact but merely your own opinion. Pretty funny that you call out others while making your own "facts" up on the fly. The actual reality is that you have zero idea how many people are actually upset with anything around here. But it's pretty much safe to say that it's more than three people.
So all we have here is more needless attacks against other users, more made up bullshit and more fake moral outrage from you. Bravo, dude.
theHobbit I think it's a fair point to criticise the casting of the top-tier, long-requested performers in Passthrough scenes. as it is by definition, an experimental niche. So logically it makes sense to use lesser-known performers for these videos to develop and experiment with (which they have, Lily Lou and Anya Olsen are probs the exceptions). I don't think its even worth engaging with your claim it's factually 3 people. But whatever continues these weird conversations I guess lol. Maybe the scene will be a banger and I'll actually be able to watch it once Quest 3 comes out.
TakingFredoFishing a LOT of the complaints
hahahahhahahhaha

justsomedude101 Anya remains in our casting pool, for those of you who hope to still get her in a standard VR scene.
There's no "standard" VR scene, doesn't exist. There's just VR content and there's AR content.
And yes, we hope and make suggestions for VR scenes on a site that offers VR content and is marketed and sold as a place offering VR content, should be rather obvious.
theHobbit Hairsational it's true - look at all the essays you have written hahahahaha
You should have checked my post history before typing that. Your average post length is longer than mine
justsomedude101 any update on when this will be released?
Garyindiana2 any update on when this will be released?
Still in the editing pipeline, so my guess would be late October or early Nov.
