  • Why don't Nash scenes get priority scripts?

LordCrash cool man, thanks for you honest opinion! That's obvious everybody have their own preferences: models, positions, lighting , etc, and their favorite scenes. good to know yours. Making up to you is a great scene no questions, one of the first scenes that's been shot with Melody Marks and she is spectacular there, innocent, fresh and motivated. It's impossible to cater to everybody taste of course but we try our best.

It's definitely a goal to eventually get every SLRO scene scripted, hopefully it can be accomplished soon. Thank you guys for being with us and contributing to VR community with your best ideas 🌟🙌

Hey guys! We will try to fix this issue with upcoming section on the website and first day scripts aviability. We have nailed release schedule and quantity. Everything should be fine soon.

    18 days later

RealcumberScripts no other studio/company out there does them or can offer them in any capacity

clzk3 i think EVERY srloriginals should get priority, since we all are having this discussion on srl forum not on vredging or deepinsex websites.

To me, this is the heart of the same-day script disconnect. It is hard for us to accept that same-day scripts for SLRO are impossible when we see VREdging and other second-tier studios shooting in 2880p get every. single. release dropped with a same-day script - and we can see that @RealcumberScripts does most of them. From the user's perspective, it seems like it certainly is possible - but it is not being prioritized by someone with the means to make it happen (i.e., management). Paying SLR for an SLR scripts subscription and seeing 2nd-tier studios get scripts while SLR Originals sit unscripted for long periods of time (or even forever) is frustrating, especially when the scripter seems to be at least tacitly an employee of SLR.

I don't think the scripters are the problem, fom the conversations I have had with them. The other studios that get same-day drops have worked with and compensated the scripters to make sure that happens. I'm not sure why SLRO hasn't secured a similar deal. It would seem like a simple matter for @doublevr to decree that SLRO get scripted first, even if other things have to wait, and to compensate the scripters in a a way that makes that happen. I don't really understand why that hasn't happenned, especially given his hype of the Handy and pursuit of an SLR-branded stroker. The company clearly sees scripts and interactive toys as an important selling point. Why not make sure your own in-house brand of vids gets the gold treatment in this area?

Several posters have also suggested that it might be SLROs workflow pipeline that is messing this up, and that seems at least plausible given how some of the errors we have seen (Alex's latest release comes immediately to mind). If so, smooting the pipeline should be given greater priority as well, given the additional headaches it would relieve. As @rerun119 noted, it does feel like this whole areea is getting the "good enough" treatment and folks get a bit dipleased when we see exploration into other areas when the ones we are interested in (or the ones that drive our subscription dollars) feel rough and unfinished.

A relevant example: Will you please provide an update on the request script button/vote counter that we've been promised? If the scripters are truly driven by market demands, this would help customers and scripters alike.

@RealcumberScripts : I'm just responding to the company. You are the god of scripting, an evangelist for all that I love. Thank you for all the owrk you do for us. I appreciate you.

clzk3 i just want to support your words. I personally also only watch videos with scripts. The Handy was such a big upgrade to watching porn so that i rarely watch porn without it.

I can imagine how time consuming scripting is and the scripts of @RealcumberScripts has put on amazing work. You‘re the Goat and i hope you keep your passion doing it.

However i often get hyped about new upcoming scenes and I am already used to wait longer for scripted scenes. At least the „upcoming script sections“ keeps my hopes up when it works.
I can understand when great Scenes by external studios don‘t always get scripts.

However the scripts are the reason I always have yearly memberships for SLR. Therefore i hope and wish that all Studio productions of SLR would get scripts.
There are some older SLR Originals that do not have scripts and I assume from the heavy release schedule (please don’t change that 😃 )of new scenes there won’t be time to script the old scenes.

Personally I always wanted the Joanna Angel Original to be scripted just as an example and would be fine if you maybe make a cut and use AI Scripts for older scenes. I would appreciate that more than having no scripts at all 🙂

AzgardCKJ I also now only watch scripted scenes. I will turn on the new SLR videos and skim through them to see if they look good. If one of them looks promising then I just log in everyday to see if it got scripted. It's just blind luck. I have been waiting for:

      https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/raw-taboo-unusual-trio-31812
      https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/her-first-time-anal-31862

These 2 have been in the coming soon section for months now. They look good plus a lot of others since then. Realcumber said he has been working on them in the past so I just keep hoping someday boom there they are.

I am losing faith that I'll ever see then because they are falling farther down the list everyday.

      1. Also I have said it multiple times now that if SLR would put out a step by step how to, that I would give it a try. Every time I say that they just link the "step by step" thread on here. That is not what I mean by step by step. I mean a multi part video of how to script. Tips, tricks ext. I have tried to download the apps but I can't even get that to work so I guess I'm just suppose to figure it all out on they own.

rerun119 That is not what I mean by step by step. I mean a multi part video of how to script. Tips, tricks ext.

I know nothing about script making...it's like wizardry to me...but I think this is an important distinction and I've forwarded this along to the team.

        @doublevr

This is not an illusion. I looked at scripting status of SLR Originals going back 11 months, and there has been a drop off in scripting recently. For example, each page of SLR Originals, sorted by date released has 32 videos per page. Look at these numbers:

        Page 1 (today through 2 months ago): 13 scripted out of 32 = 40.6%
        Page 2 (2 months ago through 5 months ago): 28 scripted out of 32 = 87.5%
        Page 3 (5 months ago through 8 months ago): 21 scripted out of 32 = 65.6%
        Page 4 (8 months ago through 11 months ago): 24 scripted out of 32 = 75%

None of the last 7 vids have been scripted going back 2 weeks. As @rerun119 noted, it is confusing why scenes like Freya Parker/Michelle Church, Laney Grey/Anna Claire Clouds, and Chanel Camryn/Mazy Meyers sit unscripted while grainy crap from TabooVR Porn and VREdging occupy your house scripters' time. These are exactly the type of scenes that used to get scripted same-day or very quickly. Now they languish. What changed? When will it be fixed?

Again: this is not throwing shade at the scripters! Instead, you should pay them enough such that making sure SLRO is a priority doesn't cause them a financial loss. The link you provided to the post above, advertising for more scripters, is not the point. If SLRO is the premiere, superior product that I am paying for with my sub dollars, then I want the premiere, superior scripter assigned to those vids. That means paying RealCumber whatever it takes to make that happen.

It feels sketchy that you don't seem to directly answer why that hasn't happened. It seem like it is in your power to make it happen today. Why has it not? I'm not saying that you must, but it would be nice to hear a reasoned explanation as to why it hasn't.

        @Mutiny

Notice how this gets no answer, no resolution, no traction?

This is why comments get provactive: at least they get attention. Just saying.

Will65 I hear you. That's surely frustrating. Personally, I do appreciate all the work/research you put into your comment. (Beyond that, you've been making an effort to lead by example and I see you. 🙏 )

I've never attempted scripting, but my understanding is that it's incredibly tedious. Like, ridiculously so. This is why I really hope they can crack the machine learning/AI assist thing, even if it's just for doing a first, pre-scripter pass. I'm not involved in the computer vision stuff, but my read on it is that research project is a way of investing financially in a long-term solve (albeit imperfect for now).

I think at this point it has to, at least partially, be a labor of love for people to be motivated to do it. Throwing more cash directly at scripters might help a bit, but I don't see that alone truly solving the problem.

Thanks for staying on top of us about this. I'll do whatever I can to help.
