xeddin1 I just subscribed for 5 years lmao. They range in terms of quality as some are shot more recently but majority are quite old. Newer scenes are at 7k resolution ranging from 45-80 Mbit/s. Older scenes are 5k res around 5-20 Mbit/s. Mostly 30fps, but have noticed at least one scene at 120fps. I think there is a big visual difference in quality between their older scenes and newer ones. I'd say they learned their mistakes and improved from their soft launch years ago.

      xeddin1 They got 4 scenes tagged as 8K. The other 24 are their trash-tier old ones that are 30 fps, low resolution, etc.

        xeddin1 You can look for yourself, they have trailers. After watching in headset. I stand corrected. They all look bad, 8k too. In fact the 8k videos don't really play, probably encoding errors. Majority of the videos are rehashed old scenes, with a handful of new unreleased scenes.

          So i was just looking around at some other VR sites and i came accross povr.com. It seems like they are very similar to SLR except they are getting much better treatment from 3rd party sites.

          Like they have 900 Wankz scenes and they aren't on a 3 year delay. Also they don't seem to hold back any scenes like they do here.

          They also have 700+ Naughty America scenes and 90 Badoink scenes.

          SLR still seems to have a big advantage in technology with the AI scripts and PT(if you're into that), but POVR seems to be taking the lead in content right now.

          Is there any chance of SLR working out a better deal with those studios to get more of their content?

            HughMungus Povr owns Wankzvr and Milfvr. That is why they have them all. They also have the Povr scenes plus Brazilvr

            They have always had the lead expect for AI and the SLR scenes. They are a good site.
            I use SLR over Povr because of AI scripts. I have told Povr that if they would get this they would be way ahead. They do have it but it sucks.
            Also I have tried to tell SLR that the only other thing they have that puts them ahead is great SLR scenes when they make them.

                HughMungus POVR is the aggregator site of WankzVR/MIlfVR and that's why they have all those scenes. There are actually zero NAVR scenes on POVR, these are all just 2-3 min trailers.

                    This is also why branding is so important for a VR site. Wankz.com which became Povr has been around before SLR.
                    If you were brand new to VR porn then you would think VRBangers was the best site. They somehow pay people to always say the are #1 when they write an article.

                          Still might consider adding a subscription to them sometime this year since Wankz is probably my most watched studio on this site and they also have 50-100 scenes from badoink and cosplayx that appear to be full length scenes.

                          VRBangers doesn't make sense, it appears to basically have 5% of the content of SLR and 0% of the technology, but they still want 80% of the subscription cost. Anyone shilling that as the best VR porn website should be ashamed

                            Czechvr! It's been a while I seen sum Czech, i just checked some out now and boy are they killing it even more! Wth!

                            One scene is this group sex scene, Czech does everything right, I love the ass line ups and the pussy stack up they always do.

                            And is it me or did they switch up cams or what? Cuz that shit looks close to real, is it the cam or this deo av1 situation, what ever it is the image looks great and I never noticed Alexis Crystals freckles till now, that's how good the image looked, looks different.

                              Vrsumo2017 I actually have the opposite opinion of CVR. They used to be great, the number 1 studio, with the best camera angles and free scripts for every scene by Realcumber. 5 years later and they are still using the same dozen models again and again (especially in passthrough) and after a long period of almost no script releases they dumped hundreds of "AI scripts" on us which are unusable. Although their AI scripts are free, if they don't work, that's not really a bonus. And btw they're not actually "AI", they just use an algorithm which detects any movement in the scene and copies it to a script, likely created by an open source app called Funscript Flow.

                              Just like they botched scripts, they are doing the same with passthrough, using their same troupe of old models who have so many scenes out there that new content is so unexciting. I love PT and there is literally not one PT scene on CVR that I've bothered to download, because of the casting. They claim they have to use veteran models for PT but both SLR and AR Porn have proved otherwise.

                              While studios like Badoink / 18vr, Virtual Taboo and even SLR really put the effort into booking the top tier Euro models available, CVR just stick to their same roster as well as anyone passing by Prague. They don't cover travel costs, which severely limits their reach.

                              I see them as a stubborn legacy studio who won't invest in evolution and are therefore doomed to fade over time. TBF it's an expensive business, trying to keep up with the tech and attract the best talent, which means there's only two ways to go - invest tons and grow, or be a tiny niche studio and extremely frugal so the limited rewards are enough to keep you going. If you're somewhere in the middle, maintaining a workforce and an aggressive release schedule, you're probably fucked.

                                  Vrsumo2017 most CVR's scenes starting with ~ CVR 756 - The Need For Cash are very crisp! they are definitely worth my time and money! too bad the Simon Kitty scenes didnt make the cut..
