Honestly, i think niche content is the way forward for pass-through. All one needs is an actress and a costume, be it Dominatrix, Furry, Anime, Fantasy, Historical, wtvr. No need to invest in expensive sets, a decent costume and some actual acting / role play skills, and you're sorted. i'd rather be visited by someone in my own bedroom, than be transported to an immersion breaking world that's clearly made of cardboard and fairy lights, not spaceships and magic.
My favourite PT so far was the one with Kay, where everything was clothed in black. i'm not a fan of the green mask, hopefully it improves with time.
