  • Passthrough changes heads-up

You know, it would of helped if yall posted the INTRUCTIONS!

  1. If the scene has a single-colored background, use the chroma key wheel to choose the nearest color, then set the saturation and brightness bars to max, then move the Hue slider around. You might need to adjust the saturation and brightness levels until the chroma key box color matches the background colour of the video. Finally, adjust the Falloff/opacity level until only the background has disappeared. [See below for more info about the chroma key tool.]

Been going threw a few vids, I got it to work!

I can pertty much find the same results like the previous version, but the previous version was faster getting there, I do notice less ghosting on eyes and black hair. Which is good 👍

I notice there's an update for the app, I skipped it cuz I found them instructions last night and wanted to try them out today.

So it works, yall had it right, it's not like it doesn't work but the previous version got me there faster.

If only yall would have posted them instructions here, maybe yall did, I just never saw it 🤷‍♂️ 🥂

Omg, I just did a video using that method of the instructions, got there quik, plus I notice hair not effected way less on dark hair models and tats less effective. 👍

Works great, "the second version passthrough"

I don't know about the new update today cuz I skipped it.🤷‍♂️ if yall did update it.

When someone updates, let me know how it work cuz I kinda like this second version. I already got good passthroughs on few videos in a short period. And brunette hair and tats stays solid oh and eyes 👀

It's works the same how it varies from video to video like before, very less passthrough on eyes, dark hair and tats but still way longer to get into a good passthrough then b4...

That was my go to first method for every video and it worked great. Varied from video to video but it got me in a passthrough quicker and worked on many videos.
Especially with soild back ground colored walls, rarely did I ever need to mess with hue or brightness 🤷‍♂️

Hey, ima leave this hear. This what my thoughts "review" were about the 13.3 passthrough version..

I don't need a whole porn set to be set up for passthrough, as long as i get a good laying cg rcg with one color wall background behind the model thats all i really need cuz I'm normally just laying looking straight at the model, I'm not looking around at my room.

Vr studios don't have to go the extra mile using green screen or black rooms... just set up the environment "background" where it works decent enough to use with a passthrough. Solid colored walls, less objects in the room.

And blonde hair models come out best, idk why but their blonde hair stays soild, with black hair models their hair becomes see through, not really a problem tho...

And I'm not saying just book blones for my ar fetish, I'm saying how the passthrough "13.3" works with the normal vr vids we been watching.

Now if we wanna talk about green screen, slr green screen scene...the model had dark hair but everything from her dark hair to her body was soild. Guess it only works like that with green screen.

13.3 version was working well, decent enough on many videos, but we were just patiently waiting on more actual videos that were filmed specifically for passthrough like the green video and black backgrounds. 🤷‍♂️

This new version works, just takes way more effort then b4. Not to enjoyable, killed my vibe...😟

I was using passthrough 95% of the time too with 13.3 version.

Hopefully we get reverted back. 🥺

Another negative I noticed...

So, it takes way longer to find a good pt but once u find it...

Example: say I fix up a good pt during laying cg cg, well once it changes position the passthrough loses, then u gotta fiddle with the settings again...

This was not a problem with the first version
Once you set a good pt you had it good for all positions 👍

To be honest the first version was really good, thoes of us who used it regularly really had no complaints, aside from the minor ghosting on dark hair and tats the first version was way better,

it was yalls best work 👍 👏👏👏

We were discussing recently a domination passthrough scene where the user perspective will be from laying on the floor.
What do you guys think?
Theoretically we could use something green representing a male body for model to manipulate with, so it feels more realistic on the contact and would give you feeling that her actions are directed towards your own body.
And a green dildo for more realism.

    Honestly, i think niche content is the way forward for pass-through. All one needs is an actress and a costume, be it Dominatrix, Furry, Anime, Fantasy, Historical, wtvr. No need to invest in expensive sets, a decent costume and some actual acting / role play skills, and you're sorted. i'd rather be visited by someone in my own bedroom, than be transported to an immersion breaking world that's clearly made of cardboard and fairy lights, not spaceships and magic.

    My favourite PT so far was the one with Kay, where everything was clothed in black. i'm not a fan of the green mask, hopefully it improves with time. In the video with Kay, the male model's cock was left visible, and it actually worked. One was perhaps too aware of the Handy chugging up and down in the foreground, and a visible cock actually helped to mask the old machine god...

              Not sure which tread to put this observation in so I picked this one.
              SLR says it has 20,000 users a day and the numbers for PT are big. I think you may get a lot of the 5% of the people that love it watching over and over.
              If I am one of those 5% of people then everytime a new one comes out I Heart it, right.
              Today @Manny_S put out a new PT video WITH a script. All the PT fans are writing all over how great it is (It probably is if you like that kind of video).

              The question is why does it have only 262 likes and a VRP video has over 400 on the same day? VRP has giant people problems and is not known to have the biggest numbers. So a lot of people that watch the VRP video don't Heart it but every PT person does.

              Conclusion: A very small amount of die hard PT fans watch those videos over and over so SLR likes the numbers. They are only serving a very small portion of their members.

                    rerun119 Its not that all the PT lovers are immediately rushing to every PT video that come out. It's 850 now. I doubt 100% of them saved it to favorites. Some just watch and never even save or download.
                    Some people know how to subscribe to the studio and get notified, some don't.
                    To some it takes time to get to the headset and check what's new.
                    And so on.
                    We also have to take into consideration that the quality of that PT method i use in my compilations is not the best, so some might just skip those types of PT videos.
                    I personally sometimes forget to save something to favorites and watch porn occasionally (besides making compilations 😄)
