it sounds weird but i want try and experiment with some color filter for passthrough...
is it possible to turn the color passthrough of pico 4 into black-white filter ?
there must be probably a way to change color of pico 4 passthrough and like put an filter on ?
i think same already exist for quest 2 but i don't saw something similar for pico 4 where i can change color of passthrough...
needs this to be done in unity ? if yes...someone know how ? can give tutorial ?

It's not weird G, I thought about that while haf in q2, cuz I like to put effects like color and sharpen alot, i call it "remixing on the fly" wish deo had sum effectts to add, like echo, and a automatic hue color changing, but in pass-through the Grey background adds an effect too, so I thought fuc, a color pass-through just gonna be regular color in the new head sets but it would be cool it has filter options, options like color filters and effects, make your environment wobbly or blurry like a drunk effect. 
But yeah, color filters would be cool.

probably it's possible now to do virtamate in passthrough on pico 4 but sadly i don't find any example clips which shows it...and on virtamate forums no one talk about this...=/

I still have a s7 and gearvr, was trying to install deo pico but no score, smh can't believe Samsung s7 pass through has better pt color then a quest 2, smh

But zucky talking bout q3 will focus more on their "meta reality" I'm guessing more " ar" "mixed reality" pass through" so idk

Vrsumo2017 Man you are on here everyday looking at PT porn. What could you possibly justify spending 400$ on more than a pico 4. Go work a couple extra shifts at work and buy it then in a year buy the q3.

picos 4 passthrough is not the best but it is way better than the black-white ^^
you gonna do nothing wrong when go for the pico 4 and soon there will be even more better passthrough for consumers and good price probably..
i just tried virtamate in passthrough mode and it is not bad.
with ALVR or ALXR you can now go passthrough on pico 4 and i already experiment with flat porn and that works good too...
there 2 blend modes which you can active by press hold left menu button + press A or B.
after get some clip, image or start app like virtamate with black background...
rly easy and simple to use.
its a shame that app like virtual desktop still can't do this...
i always wish to use virtual desktop in passthrough (even then when still had quest 2) but it looks like that never gonna happen.

you can try this even with quest 2...
this blend modes are like deovr with black box clips where all the black background gets cut out when in passthrough.
and after you can like move, scale the steamvr desktop screen anywhere or very close to you...
this way you can watch some pov clips and experiment with other flat screen porns...^^
or with apps like virtamate where black background is already by default. =)

Vrsumo2017 The first video is the Pico-sponsored livestreams in UK. I don't know if they are visible in a larger area of Europe but I can't see them in the US. They only have a few and only on the weekend evenings; a schedule is posted in the Pico Discord. [In contrast, domestic Chinese Pico Video has over 100 Pico-sponsored livestreams in 8K VR every day, including some very nice dancers who know how to effectively interact with the VR camera. Of course there is no nudity or explicitness, and the rare kisses are just friendly pecks. But the visual quality is generally far superior to the VR livestreams we are familiar with.]
The second one is an 8K interactive VR series released in chapters on the domestic Chinese Pico Video market. The latest series is "My 48 Heartbeats", which is getting very strong viewer reviews on the Pico forum in China. Those series are not viewable in Pico outside of China, not even with the Chinese Pico Video app, but my limited perspective might not be accurate.

Color passthrough with no added value
In all other functions, Pico 4 meets all expectations of a modern standalone VR experience. The internal motion sensors work quickly and without outside help, as they rely on four fisheye cameras with inside-out tracking. Thus, creating a play area in the apartment is a snap.If you want to see your surroundings between game sessions (or during a short break), just double-tap the side of the device to activate a color pass-through view. Unfortunately, it is by no means suitable for augmented or mixed reality apps. In addition, it distorts the field of vision too much when moving, especially since it does not generate a three-dimensional image. The view is always flat , so you don't even realize how far your hand is from the lenses. Reading texts from a bright screen is also not possible due to the light sensitivity. That was to be expected given the selling price. Certainly not a huge issue but a wasted opportunity because there is no significant improvement compared to other headsetsis recognizable. despite the 16-megapixel RGB camera.

I can only imagine how bad it is on Q2 then.
A kind of useless gimmick at best on both devices right now, objecting the very 3D nature of VR...
