  • Comments hidden and disabled on perVRt scenes that are completely broken?

I went back to check if the creator had made any more replies on a particular broken scene but found comments were deleted/hidden and comments are now completely disabled: https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/curvy-as-fuck-29373 (apparently all comments on perVRt scenes are now disabled?)

Is this how it's going to be? I think we all know the guy from PerVRt can't deal with criticism (tho to be fair in some earlier cases complaints were often about things that were just a matter of taste) but in this case people had valid complaints about completely broken VR scenes.

It's likely all due to perVRt using a new/different camera and they are not able to figure out how to make the VR scenes properly with it, as there were multiple scenes with the same issues and complaints. What's even more tragic is how despite many complaints he keeps insisting the scenes are fine...

It's very unfortunate the guy doesn't seem to test his own VR scenes and keeps claiming it's "our eyes" and "it's how the VR camera works" or it can't be broken because everything is made by the camera manufacturer and is working as intended... when in fact the left/right eye is so out of alignment it's completely unwatchable, it can't even be saved with offset sliders. On top of that the girl's head is mostly out of frame but you can see it warp so badly there it's likely rendered with a completely different lens profile or something like that.

But all that's perhaps beside the issue here; SLR, why are you catering to bad VR producers like this? If anything some of these scenes should have been pulled and if possible fixed... (Although in the linked case I doubt it's salvageable, it's really that bad). But either way, disabling comments entirely should not be a solution to dealing with completely valid complaints.

This development is a seriously bad signal and cannot stand... comments need to be available if there's going to be any kind of quality control, something SLR doesn't seem to want or be able to do but at least the users will speak up if a scene is broken somehow.

Unfortunately that is becoming quite typical for this site and also the forum recently, if it's something they don't want to hear, the team seem to go out of their way to delete, block and threaten bans.

Pfft. Don’t understand why anyone would watch this guys content in the first place.

Possibly the worst studio here, and that's saying a lot! As to him taking criticism, I couldn't agree more. Many scenes he's barely hard or goes soft mid way into screwing some incredibly hot babe, and then no cum shot. He then says "stay tuned to part 2" (for a cumshot) which never happens.

Hey All! Thanks for the feedback, even if it is critical. And I mean that - it's always appreciated, even if we don't always specifically point that out.

SLR strives to be an open platform, and I'm sorry if some of you don't always feel that way.

In this specific case - while most studios welcome feedback and comments on their scenes, the decision on whether to allow comments (or not) is at their discretion.

i think they have done a decent job. i like to SEE all the video equipment. when i was helping cam girls buy equipment...it was easy to later have them SEE what the quality would look like using the cheaper entry-level vuze and EVO (unfortunately discontinued)

dojimmy I'm not a big fan of many things happening on SLR, yet it's the best way to proceed. we have to tolerate some things if we want to keep bringing it up

that producer and users were saying shit to each other requesting us to take an action to each other. please suggest how would you proceed in our situation?

Hope you are not one of that users involved

      doublevr
how about trying to quality control the products your putting on the site. Its obvious most of the stuff going up from pervert and a few other smaller studios is not quality checked in a vr headset.

Same issue with Blush recently, and the ohh it looks fine to us and slr say it looks so fine so we dont see the problem. When 95% of the comments were saying No its not fine. The difference being at least Blush listened in the end, and now they are putting out by far their best work.

And no im not 1 of the users envolved, perverts quality is shite and i wouldnt waste my time watching it. What shocks me is that you as a company and we the customers are paying for ithat quality to be on SLR.

Their content has always been a bit amateur-like at least on the VR-technical side of things which not everyone likes but at least it was usually properly synced and scaled well before the new camera. Personally I just watch it if there's a specific favorite pornstar in it and try to ignore the rest. Also I have to commend him for at least reacting on comments a lot, there's plenty of studios consistently making mistakes with scenes that don't ever respond. So I hope perVRt sees this and reconsiders, and perhaps SLR can give tech advice with their new camera or something.

@doublevr There's talking shit and there's completely valid complaints, I did see people saying that they don't like how he looks or acts in the scenes and maybe that's something actionable like deleting those comments. But to disable all comments including valid complaints is just not the way. Many of the recent complaints were about the scenes being unwatchable, perhaps it went sour quickly because the perVRt guy was not listening and insisting it's all on our end rather than his scenes being broken. I suggest having a look at their recent scenes and tell me if those scenes are not broken. Or better yet tell perVRt about it because they clearly don't believe the viewer comments, maybe they accept it if it comes from SLR.

dojimmy On SLR you don't get into a trouble unless you are particularly looking to get yourself in trouble. I can't see the basis for the whole back and forth.

You don't like just get it removed from your feed. We want all the content on SLR

slr making money off his vids so not like they care... though it is frustrating having to manually filter out all the trash quality content like pervert when it could just not be shown in the first place...

I went through the comments, but I can't find this. Are you talking about the requests for POV?

Which tells you what? That there are users who do like the content.
So either the content is there, and you don't have to watch it; Or the content is not there and no-one can watch it.

doublevr You don't like just get it removed from your feed. We want all the content on SLR

...but content that actually works in VR though, right? What's the point of VR scenes that are not watchable in VR?

And I don't think you're really listening. At least some of us don't want it removed, we want it fixed so we can watch it. I get some comments were perhaps bad (from both members and the producer btw) but if scenes are simply broken you're just going to keep getting complaints about that.

And aside from the issues with this one studio, in general blocking comments completely is a terrible anti-consumer move and a clear sign we are just going to be ignored.

Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised anymore, SLR keeps doing things that are blatantly hostile towards their own members. I just found out about the increased download timer nonsense and once again zero arguments were made as to why it was changed from SLR. Worse even the topic was closed, clearly just like with this issue here SLR isn't listening. I subbed here because it was convenient and I could download when I want, now there are many annoyances and hurdles in getting the content that it's no longer the better service. SLR is running towards making the service and user experience so much worse that after 2+ years of premium I'm now actively looking at other solutions.

doubleVR reminds me a lot of that weirdo from Pervrt tbh. Does an awful job representing the company.
