They did address the issue, they told the OP that the policy changed and what it was going forward. If people want to go to Epoch for a refund then good luck to them, most won’t though as they don’t want to lose access to the site so that thread was just a lot of empty threats by people saying the same thing over and over and this will no doubt be the same.

As they said it affects hardly anyone and I’d be fairly suspicious of anyone who is regularly downloading more than 150 videos every month. Who has time to watch all that?

            They did not address the issue. We paid for a certain amount that was advertised, and now they are not providing that amount. That's not addressing the issue. Either they revert to what we paid for or they issue refunds in the percentage of money that they've taken away in the percentage of downloads that were advertised for life when I paid. In my personal case.. Last I checked, I'm still alive, and less than 4 months is not lifetime. So they have false advertising and breach of contract that needs to be resolved.. not a 1 sided decision to provide half of what was paid for.

                        I'm not paying for streaming service, or else they would have only advertised a streaming service and not downloads. I paid for all that was advertised and now they're not providing what was advertised at the time I, and others, paid.

                            I've asked this b4 but I'm hoping they add a streaming only subscription at 9.99 as an option. I just got a sub recently and theres a few scenes I wanna dl, hell I'm surprised I haven't downloaded anything yet, cuz I can get real trigger happy on sum downloads which I hate, cuz there's so many great scenes and I hate to be going threw my files on 4 full hard drives searching for scenes I might not want, but I wanted them b4 or else I wouldn't have downloaded em 😕 🤷‍♂️

                            This probably my 2nd or third time subscribing, but if they had a extra option for just streaming only at 9.99 hell id sub to that often. Plus I wouldnt be so worried about downloading everything. I could just sub again at way cheaper price for just streaming and my favorite videos would be in my favorite section. 👍

                              Monthly (and other limited term) subscriptions going forward, the change is fine, make whatever changes you want, as long as that's what's advertised to people as they make their payment. You begin to advertise this and new subscribers can choose if it is an acceptable deal for them or not. But I paid for a certain amount, you need to provide that amount for the duration of the terms agreed to at the time of the transaction.. which for me, for example, is lifetime.. not less than 4 months that I've been here before it gets cut in half, and future cuts that are sure to come if nothing is done about it now.
