argyle43 The one that starts with Sky now does a decent job rendering the 200deg SLRO files too.
i did not see a setting for 200 in sky.... is there a trick to get it to work? or maybe i am just not updated to latest on my Quest 2

FreeWilly123 I believe you just have to enable the fisheye setting. Worked okay for me. It’s not perfect, DEO still plays it best, but it was improved from how it handled those files before.
I got the SLR and i want DLNA back or any other option to mount a drive to Oculus Quest 2. Sky Player does not support resolutions and works slow. The only way to look Hi Definition Videos was through Oculus Quest 2 DLNA Support.

You can try Pigasus. It's paid and a bit more janky than DEO but it supports DLNA
Oh wow, long-time SLR subscriber and Quest 2 user here who just joined the forum to see what's going on with DNLA support. I subscribe for your awesome player even more than the content and rarely stream complete scenes on DEO or SLR since they're prone to interruptions especially at high resolutions when the site is busy, I just scan new scenes to see if they look interesting and then download to watch on my home media server & network where there are no buffering issues - also consider it very wasteful of ISP bandwidth to stream favorite VR scenes repeatedly. Never had any issues with DNLA myself and the site isn't worth the price of a continuous subscription to me without the ability to easily access & play files on my home server, so if DNLA isn't going to be available as an experimental feature (which you can reasonably decline to support if that's the real reason you're doing this) and SMB support isn't added to replace it then I'll be leaving.
We have got through the point of no return in regards to DLNA.

Let's move on as more cool features are coming
keithfromny i agree with you 1000%
DLNA NEVER gave me issues. In fact it was the best thing to ever happen to vrporn and ill die on this hill (not alone). I can stream 8K files to my quest 2 with no issues and it uses less battery power to watch this way as I'm not using the quests internet app or whatever to stream a huge video file that's not downloaded. I enjoy long multi hour sessions and that will not be possible without DLNA or loading straight off the devices memory which can't hold but more than a few videos.
KingpinVR DLNA is getting back to SLR during this week https://forum.sexlikereal.com/d/2572-dlna-is-getting-back-to-slr-during-this-week
doublevr thank you for the update. I want to reiterate that I was never trying to be rude and my original forum thread about the app being dead was never meant in a spiteful way. Actually had no idea you guys had any affiliate with them. I thought it was just an app on the store everyone on here liked to use and wanted to figure out what everyone else was using...so deo will be getting dlna back then?
Polar so DLNA is being removed and accentally hidden behind the premium pay wall?
No 4 deo tho we need it 4 deo 2 what about DEO now cost $20 1 time then it have the dln support back aagin
KingpinVR Sounds like it is planned for the SLR app only, not sure about DeoVR. But keep in mind I'm just going off of what I've seen in the forum posts, I'm not part of the Dev team. This means that yes, it would likely be for SLR members only by default.
justsomedude101 I think if you have ever had a subscription to SLR you should be able to use DLNA on their app to access the content you downloaded while your subscription was active. It would incentivize new subs meanwhile not hurting your existing customer base. Lets be honest, if you're able to watch your SLR content via DLNA, the average customer is going to be able to enjoy their content more than say CzechVRs, POVRs ect. They're more likely to resub more often and knowing they can enjoy their content more frequently.

Yes this is even better than what I said but for deo 2
1inthechamber right, deo is my favorite of all the apps and DLNA is so critical to my setup...
