          This is actually boggling my mind. Here in the US we have the luxury of watching uncensored porn and think nothing of it. I'm trying to imagine being born in Japan growing up to porn that has always been censored. Unless I'm mistaken, they don't even know what uncensored porn looks like!

          I was attracted to JAV because it was a different culture and a unique kind of erotica. The sexlikereal.com site has everything that .jp site has I assume (and am glad), but the .jp doesn't have everything the .com site has. I wonder what repercussions there would be if we auto-censored our porn (as I believe SLR is learning with JP Originals) ... and include that on the .jp site? Would the Japanese market be as interested in our content as we are theirs?

          I feel the interest may naturally be there just because it's something new and different, like JAV was for me, but in the long run it may not be a good idea and could corrupt their market and culture. That is ... I would think us being exposed to their milder porn would have less of an effect than them being exposed to our porn on steroids. It could even prompt a harsh legal response to ban non-jav porn if it's not already, like can they even access pornhub for uncensored porn or is it just specific to Japanese produced porn?

          Who knows ... Any other thoughts?

            That's why I stopped watching Japanese, I don't understand why we need censorship even in porn, it's idiocy. I switched more to hidden-camera video, so I could see everything in detail there. By the way, I found an adult tube site where there are a lot of them and there I try to choose by genre. For me it is very strange that now you can only watch certain porn, something is closed, and so on. But at least there is variety here and I've even found some Japanese girls, who apparently live in another country and can show their genitals.

              Kanaro Porn is illegal in Japan. If you can't see genitalia, it is not considered porn over there.

                  Rakly3 , I can understand that it needs to remain censored for Japanese actors, however, only having a censored version of the "Hollywood Girls Fantasy Harem" videos by ChinChinVR is a pain we have to live with 😉 It's unbearable to see such a cast / video censored only....

                    abcrebel I lived in Japan for four years and still have many Japanese friends, and what's interesting is that they actually are the world's #1 producer and consumer of pornography. There's a funny thing in Japan, that's it's not the law that's important, it's more like the spirit of the law, and enforcing order.

                    Japan knows that their censorship laws are outdated, and very few people actually care about the topic. But change is a top-down thing in Japan, not bottom-up like we usually see in the west.

                    We also can't look at Japan in a vacuum. As far as East-Asian cultures go, it's actually pretty permissive and progressive. The same censorship laws apply in Korea (with even more restrictions, to be honest), and some other countries don't have professional industries to speak of.

                        ApolloSLR good example that censorship doesn't help. Japanese people can easily access uncensored porn and the fact that it is illegal makes it even more exciting.

                          This is my favorite JAV site, https://javhub.com, simply because they provide high-quality uncensored content. I'm curious about their methods for consistently delivering such content. If I understood it correctly, their website states that they are based in Canada, suggesting that the content is shot outside of Japan. Why can't we expect uncensored JAV with an SLRO touch?

                          In other words, why not book their models for some uncensored content either in the US or Canada, if they can achieve it, would you also be capable of doing the same?
