Redhulk50 Uncensored content can only be shot outside of Japan. For native Japanese girls it can become a legal issue if they have uncensored content out there; It often is hard to prove it was not recorded in Japan.
It is also not only an issue for the girl. Studios don't want to risk being accused of having published the content.

hhigh88 I guess it depends on how one looks at it. I see myself as a fan of JAV porn, which happens to be censored rather than a fan of censored porn that happens to be Japanese. With censorship aside (and even included), there are many reasons to enjoy JAV porn just as much as "regular," uncensored porn.
Currently 51% of my favorited-to-watch later videos are all JAV, and a main reason that I subscribe to SLR is for JAV-VR content which is double the value imo. As you've suggested, there is good demand ... might be a bummer to some , but it's a boner to others in their own way

I feel the interest may naturally be there just because it's something new and different, like JAV was for me, but in the long run it may not be a good idea and could corrupt their market and culture. That is ... I would think us being exposed to their milder porn would have less of an effect than them being exposed to our porn on steroids. That's why I stopped watching Japanese, I don't understand why we need censorship even in porn, it's idiocy. I switched more to hidden-camera video, so I could see everything in detail there. By the way, I found an adult tube site where there are a lot of them and there I try to choose by genre. For me it is very strange that now you can only watch certain porn, something is closed, and so on. But at least there is variety here and I've even found some Japanese girls, who apparently live in another country and can show their genitals.
abcrebel I lived in Japan for four years and still have many Japanese friends, and what's interesting is that they actually are the world's #1 producer and consumer of pornography. There's a funny thing in Japan, that's it's not the law that's important, it's more like the spirit of the law, and enforcing order.
Japan knows that their censorship laws are outdated, and very few people actually care about the topic. But change is a top-down thing in Japan, not bottom-up like we usually see in the west.
We also can't look at Japan in a vacuum. As far as East-Asian cultures go, it's actually pretty permissive and progressive. The same censorship laws apply in Korea (with even more restrictions, to be honest), and some other countries don't have professional industries to speak of.
It's unbearable to see such a cast / video censored only....
