Anyone else having errors when trying to connect to cams? Can't even get into the cam list section without getting an error. Worked fine until Thursday but haven't been able to since, even after updating the SLR app. Whenever I try to coonect it just says "DataProvider GetGeoDataAsync Error - A task was cancelled"

No VPN. Just stopped being able to connect one day to the next. Browsers won't connect either. All thumbnails are blacked out.

Other sites are fine - just cams on SLR app and browsers. As I said before the app is getting an error when trying to connect when it was fine just days ago. "DataProvider GetGeoDataAsync Error - A task was cancelled" is the error. A dev should be able to know what this means because I haven't a clue.

I’m getting the same error. 3-4 days now. Installed app update but it didn’t help.

@faptastic#5368 @taigu#5395 Hey guys, no sollution yet. The following does not come from the devs, but could you try lowering/disable some security settings of your system? Not saying you have to keep them turned of, but could give us some info.

Can you check for system updates? (ie windows update)

Was completely up to date on Windows 10 ver. 1909 Updated to Win 10 ver. 2004 + all update patches. Updated all drivers, including graphics card & oculus. Now completely up to date and hasn't made a difference at all. Again this is only effecting connecting to cams. The rest of the site & videos play in both browser & Rift. Cam thumbnails are blacked out and refuse to connect/timeout.

Cams working again in browser atm. Haven't checked Rift yet but will when I get some time.
Am curious as to why, or at least what the info I sent via email determined the issue was.

Same problem, I can connect through the website on PC, but on both the slr app on PC and de DEOVR app on the quest 2 I get certification errors when opening a stream.

The error on the quest 2 is:

java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException

Hey @Rakly3 . Seems the hanging and stuttering problems on the livestreams and dreamcams own site are popping up once again. Did a speed test. 122582

I had reached out over email before. seeing that others on the forum are experiencing similar connection issues makes it seem like a dreamcam server issue. Have rebooted modem/headset, redownloaded deoVR, adjusted settings, and it seems like nothing on our end can fix it.

The SLR speedtest is separate from the cam streams though.
How are the video streams? The test results are borderline of 'workable'.

Resurrecting this thread, hope thats the best option - been getting errors recently over the last couple of weeks connecting to some of the Girls Cams while other Cams work fine.

Error presents itself in the way that the UI (chat, tip menu, etc) is loading fine, video/audio feed starts black, switches to loading icon and after a few seconds drops back to the main page with error message "java.io.EOFException"

I'm using a PicoVR 4 headset with the DeoVR App
