TommyStone Imagine someone curious about VR – maybe they just got a headset and heard about this site as the go-to place for immersive experiences. They land on the homepage and what do they see? A wall of 2D videos – the same kind of stuff they can find on any free tube site. Do you think they’ll stop and wonder, “Hmm, maybe I should check the filters”? Or will they just assume this site isn’t what they hoped for and move on?
In my opinion, this is exactly how SLR is unintentionally losing potential new users. First impressions count. Highlighting VR content by default and offering 2D as an optional add-on would reinforce SLR's identity as a VR-first platform – which is what it was built on and what made it successful in the first place.
Really? I think maybe you are misrepresenting the average VR user who tend to be quite tech savvy. There is literally a toggle switch on the left hand side that you can switch off which is off by default. No?
