The risk with a lifetime sub is is that, by paying upfront, you lose your leverage over the company. A monthly sub can tell the company "Please fix this issue or I'm cancelling my sub". A lifetime sub does not have that leverage.
Lifetime Subscribers...should you be ignored?

I just don't get some people.

Spidey senses tingling, some sort of manipuluation to take away from Lifetime Subscribers using a pseudonym to spark discussion !

@SchnuppiLilac Mate you're always on the ball, something feels off !
GenericUser3 A monthly sub can tell the company "Please fix this issue or I'm cancelling my sub". A lifetime sub does not have that leverage.
Yeah ... no. If you talk to a team of techs busting their ass to make the site better and say "fix this or im cancelling my sub" they would say cya later. If you can make a clear recommendation, it can apply to more people than you, and benefit people and make the site better, then it will likely happen in time whether you bring it up or not. But your "leverage" attitude would be ignored 100%. I went from monthly to lifetime, you get treated exactly the same, still real life people you are dealing with even if these are just typed words. Just dont be a dick and expect to world to revolve around you.
If 1 person has an issue they want to cancel over, nothing is going to change. It a lot of people make the issue apparent, then it will probably be addressed in some way. That has nothing to do with monthly or lifetime.
sogman It's not about being a dick or having an attitude. I don't think you understand how business works. If you have a serious issue that legitimately prevents you from using the service, you should cancel your sub, or threaten to cancel so they fix the issue ASAP. That's just business. A lifetime sub obviously does not have that leverage - they cannot withhold future payment because they gave away all their money upfront. What they do have is "customer loyalty" which may or may not mean anything depending on the company.
xeddin1 It's a simple question of availability to pay now, how long you will be watching porn, and thus the long term value.
1) Do I have the money to spend on lifetime now such that it will not harm me too much financially if I do so?
2) Do I plan on jerking off to VR content from the best VR porn site well into the future?Let's do some quick math (based on current subscription prices as at March 1st, 2025:
Month to month
$24.99 / month or $299.88 / yr or $1,499.40 over 5 yearsYearly
$8.99 / month or $101.88 / yr or $509.40 over 5 yearsLifetime
$299.99 once
Pretty much my scenario
I've never had a subscription to a porn website before SLR and I wanted to just pay once and not do the annoying "oh fuck I cannot download this video cos my sub expired" dance every few months
The alternative is keeping a sub going forever which is bad financials when a lifetime is available that pays for itself in just a few years Peace of mind is invaluable
But now I piss away hundreds of dollars on Stripchat VR live-cams every week, if SLR had a better interface and saved privates i'd do it here instead!

GenericUser3 Go ahead and "withhold your payment" then. If there is a legit issue, it will be adressed. Also you must be new here, lifetime pays for itself in 3 years. This site has been up since like 2018? Not sure why you are complaining. They have had a pretty good track record and no other site has this inbedded feature of passthrough or AI scripts allowed with their subscriptions unless you want to spend way more than SLR charges. Like a lot more montly total. You arent making a great point here.
But again, an issue prohibiting users from using the site is something that would effect everybody equally, not just lifetime users. A website would go under if there was such an issue so something would be corrected.. this site did not just pop up yesterday
But it doesnt matter because your view is just such a drastic and dramatic way to look at things. The chances of something that catastrophic happening within a 3 year timespan (the cost of lifetime vs monthly paid, what we are talking about in the first place) is so unlikely, I dont even know why you are complaining about it. Some people like to sign up once, instead of being a slave to monthly subscriptions for everything in life. Instead of complaining, why dont you just sign up for SLR lifetime, nobody cares about sombodys "leverage opinions"
InfiniteFun VRFanService
Bro where we find all their content they released here on sir, and are they still producing?

After more than one year of nothing a new scene was added to the toilet channel just the other day which made me wonder whether he's becoming active again. But apart from that very niche project I don't think there is anything else.
I just happened to see a good deal. I remember when lifetime was $1000+ years ago but I was content with $199 annual. Then just before my renewal last year, I happened around my account settings and saw that $300 lifetime deal. It was shocking and also a no brainer. Let me see, my annual payments for 5 years sub + my upgrade last year is the equivalent of the original lifetime cost. I'm a satisfied customer and we break even. Also, I just cancelled 3 other subs freeing up cash to use on any new developments like watching AI space babes/AI-anything from YouTube as Immersive Flat videos that may cost drive credits or small monthly subscription.
sogman You say that like SLR strictly only improves but I can think of plenty of things that have changed for the worse since I purchased my LT sub. If you have a monthly or yearly sub you can at least vote with your wallet, but once you have LT you lose that option.
SchnuppiLilac From what I understand, he wants nothing to do with SLR now.
I only expected to have and keep the deal I signed up for at the time of LT membership. That hasn't happened for a couple of things like how many scripts I can download or videos. I don't care about the number of videos at this moment but that doesn't mean they want change it again. I do care about the scripts

rerun119 like how many scripts I can download
Hmm very true, yeah the script download limit is a real pitty. At the very least it would be nice if they kept the download limit how it was for lifetime subscribers. Yeah I would agree with the script downloads.
Im sure the thought behind it is to guide people to stream only and never feel the need to download. But then why not remove download ability alltogether? If the goal is to try and guide people towards streaming off the platform vs downloading, I mean... I bought lifetime so its not like Im going anywhere. Not sure what the idea is behind the throttle
Hairsational My understanding as well.

So they can charge for additional script downloads. By limiting the included script downloads, more people will buy individual scripts.
Generate AI scripts almost for free, charge a few $ each, pure profit. It's probably a huge cash cow.

...wasn't it three hand made scripts a month for ages, then they introduced AI and added ten AI plus the original three HM, then panicked because they realised they were giving away the home world, and when the AI started producing actual content they reduced it to the current three plus three?
So technically i have more downloads now as an LT than when i joined (six vs three), but if i joined during the 'thirteen free scripts' era, then i'd understandably feel i had been somewhat hoodwinked. SLR should definitely have done more to let people know the ten AI script thing was more of a sweetener to encourage feedback on their new baby.
But then customer relations and SLR are a bit of a mixed bag, innit...!
xD

I agree, I don't like the script download limit.
As a Lifetime user for both videos and script, I can download 30 videos in 6 days but only 3 + 3 scripts in a month.
Let's say I want to download original quality videos and watch them while using my toy, I can do that for 6 videos in a month.
Would it be so bad for SLR to let people download the video and its script toghether? You download the video, you are allowed to download its script.
This limit is not making me buy scripts, I'm just looking elsewhere, Eroscripts or the promising AI scripting softwares under development.
I bought lifetime mostly because paying for porn is a pain, and every transaction is both a security / privacy risk and opens you up to questions from your bank. Do it once and not have to worry again. Plus, if you think you'll be watching for a few years, it makes financial sense, and there's no risk of increased sub fees.
I don't expect any say in the company or any bonuses. I would like a slightly more generous script allowance though!
I payed for lifetime because I like the idea of pay once, use forever.
