SchnuppiLilac we did not make any changes related to sound, so this might be related to Quest public testing channel.
Could you try switching this channel off and see if it helps?

      I could do that but it requires a factory reset which I would like to avoid. But as soon as there is confirmation from other users that the example I mentioned does not cause audio issues for them, I will do it.

        Here's what i suggested

        can yall add a slider that will transparent the edges of the vr videos.

        The falloff slider transparents the whole picture so it fades out colors.

        What I wanna do is Transparent just the edges of the picture.

        I was working out along with a vr video on jillvr, I tried using the falloff but it just makes everything transparent, I just want to fade out the edges when in pass-through

        Kinda like avp, you don't really see the edges of the video, it's faded

        So, a slider you slide to the right it fades out the edges, the more you slide the more it fades out making fov smaller.

        You know what I mean? 🤔

          Kieshi In the meantime, I found a way to check for myself by using the old Q2. With regular release channel v72 and DeoVR 14.5, there are no audio issues anymore. Moreover, on Q3 with PTC v74 I noticed that also Heresphere has audio issues (delays) when playing certain videos. So the conclusion from all that is that most likely v74 from PTC is causing this.

            @Kieshi The audio issue I had a month ago (see posts right above) is back. I am on Q3 (and yes, latest DeoVR version) and in the regular release channel now and got the v74 update a few days ago. You can check it out in the below examples if you want. What you should expect to find when you have the same issue is girls sounding like Chewbacca starting a family.

            I guess the issue was caused by Meta and not so many videos are affected but it would still be nice if there was a way to fix this for DeoVR.

              SchnuppiLilac hi, checked current latest version available (v72) and sound seems to work fine, you are still on PTC version, correct? So this is definitely Meta issue. We suggest moving to v72 to avoid this.

                    Kieshi No, I am on regular release channel now. v74 was rolled out for me via automatic updates on 08 March, until then I was back on regular v72 for a month and everything was fine. If you are still on v72, then you won't be able to notice the problem.

                        Nvm false alarm 😔, was looking at the brightness slider, but when will we get separate volume?

                          We are investigating this, I will be back once we have more info. If you find more videos where this appears - please share them, it would help us identify the issue faster.

                            What I have found so far is that many SexbabesVR scenes are affected. If you sort them by date, it seems to start with the 'Sexy Lexi' scene, and from there multiple older videos are affected https://www.sexlikereal.com/studios/sexbabesvr?sort=most_recent&page=7

                            Apart from that, I found one RealJam scene which also is an EU production, so maybe there is a connection https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/anal-training-for-three-bitches-27193

                                Meta ruined my Library as well. Everything was fine, but my Quest 3 automatically downloaded 14.3 version 74.102 and after that there are plenty of sound problems (Chewbacca sound describes it good). Lots of older and popular StacyQ videos are affected for example:

                                All these work fine in new SLR web. Unfortunately it lacks so many options I can't use it.

                                Can you fix the dome rotation, for long time now if I press and hold my button to drag the image left or right and it never moves in a straight line, for reference look how YouTube or skynox picture moves when you drag the image left or right. It should work like that, especially for 360 videos on deo and jillvr.

                                Hopefully it can work like YouTube dragging left and right.

                                Just seen a message from Heresphere, they have an update with a fix for the audio problem with v74 from Meta. They said problem occurred with vids which have more than 2 audio channels.

                                Maybe this is helpful for a DeoVR fix...
