Curieux I use Avidemux to cut out portions of videos and reduce file size. Not sure where you are getting that large of videos. VRBangers has the largest I've encountered at around 20 Gigs.

@doublevr Instead of creating a new topic I'll just ask these here.
ETA of the New Haptic SLR Toy?
ETA of the New SLR Player (Non-DEOvr)?

Is there a way to use our own script for videos uploaded? Tried using with name of video and also the scene id but neither worked.

twizzlar script uploads are coming to Drive later according to previous posts from doubleVR

GenericUser3 I had this exact scenario happen ( card expired ) and though I lost my special pricing 😢, my uploaded content remained intact after updating my card info and resubscribing under my current account.

Do uploaded 2D videos get "VR'd" or is this only for already VR vids getting PT'd?

Kolaches you can watch flat videos in vr, np.
We are working hard to get ai features working with flat as well

I just thought of another thing maybe SLR could do with this.
Could you remaster scenes? There was a scene tonight that I was going to watch but it was 2880. I would watch it if it was remastered.
With adding the ability to do this, it would mean you would have more videos that people could want to use the service for. Videos that are even on SLR.

Maybe even have remastered old videos from other studios on SLR. You would be the only site doing it. One more thing other sites don't have.

Love it. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for AI scripts.

rerun119 slr videos were already mastered right. There's not much gain to look for. Maybe some better color grading for some videos. Most of remasters with the upscale is bs.

doublevr I've been seeing some 'AI upscaled/remastered' older movies pop up on YouTube lately and the improvement is actually pretty striking. You should take another look into it. I think he's on to something here.

rerun119 I think this is a great idea. AI upscaling is pretty impressive. I'm seeing a lot of it done with older movies on YouTube.

What's an easy way to tell what the right video settings are for the generated AI PT re: fisheye vs equirectangular and which lens to select? Or do you just have to go by eye?
Autodetect hasn't worked for either upload for me so far.

Everyone is getting back from the holidays. Things should start getting faster now

Ah, it's only firefox that didn't work with autodetect. Worked fine on Edge.

It may have been explained elsewhere but does SLR Drive accept av1 files?

@doublevr Why not just have unique hashes for uploaded videos to avoid limited drive space for customers and the need to reprocess the same video uploaded by different users? Generated scripts and passthrough masks could be streamed through DeoVR to a video stored locally by the customer while SLR saves money on bandwidth, storage costs, and video script/PT processing costs, as well as uploads taking forever due to slow customer upload speeds. It just seems like a no-brainer to me and I would be willing to pay for it of course, unless adding functionality to stream the PT mask separately from the video is too difficult at this time. 🤷‍♂️

Bobjeff1 could be uploaded for sure.
